Can’t tell you guys how much I miss the older versions of InZOI for the old traits…
They need to :
Split Troublemaker and Entertainer traits
Split Rulebreaker and Cooperator
Split Recluse and Volunteer
Bring back Scholar, Mediator and Social Activist
You can have the negatives, I am not asking to delete them, but to bring back the good ones.
So we’d get to keep the negative traits and I have a few friends in game that love them, so perfect for them.
But we’d get the 6 ones that were removed/turned into those negative traits back as well.
It would be a ”Win-Win” scenario for everyone…

Yes, Devs, this is an absolute must. Please bring back the removed traits. Also add more positive characteristics, along with the traits.
Since ver 0.5.0 update, there are more negative traits than positive, which has contributed to increasing the negativity in the game. And currently we have very few positive traits + characteristics combinations.

You have multiple post in the Kjun thread and I wanted to thank you for it.
I’ve been very busy IRL and didn’t have much time/energy to do anything in InZOI, much less keep up to date with the discord or asking Kjun my usual things.
Yes, I’m not the only one who loves friendly zois getting along with each other in a positive way, right now I’m limited to making 99% zois Trait Sentinel, Characteristic Cheerful · Extroverted, Ambition Loving Family, Desired Life Life of Familial Devotion, this will not work for creating a whole friendly world with unique personalities like I have done in The Sims, so please bring back these removed traits and add some more positive and friendly ones too
I’m busy too, all of this is happening while I’m commuting and instead of sleeping. It’s just that lately the chat has been getting really active about copying the Sims, and Kjun’s AI will be shown that copying is what needs to be done if no one pushes back. I’ll get back home and probably post a whole wall of text here too.
I even started doubting whether I’d opened inZOI’s official channel and not a Sims fan group.
Yeah those players are annoying. The devs really need to infiltrate the community a bit more and will realize nobody wants a sim clone… The more the game moves into that direction the worse it’s going to be. That said, they can take the good from the sims (like the age groups control) but stay away from the bad things players kept complaining about.
I hope we get through to the devs and they walk back the bad changes they already implemented since June.
If not the game will only be worse from it.
Let’s get the removed traits first and hopefully the devs can put more depth into them over time and make it so they give the zois a bit more of a personality (which seems to be wat Simmers keep complaining about, and one some level I can’t fault them for it, but this is not the sims and they need to understand that).
Giving more weight to those Enneagram traits would be a huge breath of fresh air.
Exactly. For clarity, I’ll also ask you to open threads like this in brainstorms, not in wishlists, so we can have one or two shared threads focused on bringing back the Enneagram traits and aging control (cheats). That way the active threads here and on Discord stay in sync, and it’ll be easier for the team to collect the feedback.
I believe we’ve already proven that this approach works, it enabled the team to focus on bug fixes and gameplay improvements, while also saving our own time.
As far as I know, “Scholar” and “Social Activist“ were not deleted. They were just renamed in “Intellectual“ and “Innovator“. The meaning of these traits is exactly the same as that of the previous ones.
But I would really like to see the return of such traits as a Volunteer and an Entertainer. Volunteer is just a good and altruistic trait. And an Entertainer, unlike a closed introverted Visionary, is extroverted
Also, in theory Dreamer was supposed to be replaced by Idealist, but its description (Idealist) doesn’t fit Enneagram Type 9 Peacemaker nearly as well. It’s closer to Type 4, next to Visionary, and resembles the Romantic more (in the Enneagram sense, not in the romantic).
