For the sake of Valentine’s Day,
fix the Love Bugs (and give us the option to remove all restrictions)
It can’t be that our Zois get restricted on who they can love.
I don’t know if that’s really a thing but some romantic Relationships seem impossible because of mismatching traits?
Almost every second romance drama or book is an enemy-to-lovers story.
When we want our Zois to fall in love with another Zoi, it should be possible, no matter what.
Because love knows no boundaries
Hey LennyOgg! Just a heads-up: the Bug Report category is mainly for organizing actual bug reports so our devs can review them more easily.
We get that you want to talk about bugs and some romance-related features, but we’d appreciate it if you could share those in the other relevant threads instead. That way, everything stays tidy and easier for everyone to follow.
Of course, if you find any new bugs, please do post them here in the Bug Report category so our devs can see them.
I’ll go ahead and move this post to the Wishlist thread thanks!
These are all actual bug reports and sadly none of them got resolved yet.
I just thought it’s easier for the devs to keep an eye on them and find solutions if it’s all in one place
I’ll just remind you that you can change a Zoi’s personality traits with using a cheat code.
On the contrary, I think that the matching of personality traits is an interesting detail. It’s very realistic. In real life we don’t date or marry with the first person we meet. Sometimes it takes a lifetime to find your soulmate.
Have you seen the movie “The Story of Us (1999)” with Bruce Willis? A classic example of a family is when a married couple, a few years later, even with children, quarrel regularly, like a cat with a dog.
The system of love relationships in the game is very simplified compared to real life. But even so, it’s interesting that there is variability
That might be realistic (I still think love is always possible) but many players, including me, just want to play the game how they want to and control their little world.
I’ve seen a lot of posts and videos where players are utterly frustrated because our Zois can’t have a relationship and the game doesn’t even give us a hint why it can’t happen.
And I totally agree, the player should be able to regulate whether he wants to build relationships with others simply and easily, or play out “maximum realism” with 99 rejections out of 100 new acquaintances)))
The player often doesn’t understand how he can influence the outcome of some events in the game, the behavior of the characters. I would like to have more control over what is happening too.
I still don’t fully understand what is better. Write about the same issues in new topics every time so that developers notice? Developers will go crazy with the huge number of topics. If you write once, it will get lost in the message stream…
Some times we want two different zois, like one that works and one that stays home and each needs specific characteristics and traits to fulfill their duties.
Imo this whole match-up system needs to be removed and let us marry any two zois however we create their characteristics and traits.
Think about the game itself, it is supposed to be for fun
The characters are almost no different from each other anyway. The game is constantly being hated because of this. All the haters 24/7 compare inZOI with Sims 2;3;4, in which the characters are more complex and have unique character traits, they can behave in different ways.
Do you seriously recommend simplifying the game even more?!
Specifically, in the case of Zoi’s compatibility, in order for them to have a good relationship, the developers only need to do one thing - to make it possible to adjust the “ease” of the relationship controlled at the player’s request.
Then both those who want simplicity in gameplay and those who criticize the game for its monotony will be satisfied
