When creating a new Zoi teenager in Cahaya for some reason some end up skilling way too fast and I don’t know how to stop it or even why it’s happening.
Created a female teenager who is a Lively Genius .. Intellect. Moved her into Cahaya on Senyap Property.
Day 1 went to work out and after working out once on each piece of equipment a few Zoi hours all of the sudden she was a level 4 fitness.
Went outside and starting Collecting after digging up 8 piles she was already level 5 by the end of sunday she was master level 10 collecting that is not right.
Signed her up for swimming lessons and after 3 swimming lessons and swimming in the ocean for an hour Zoi time she was level 10 when everyone else I’ve played it takes a lifetime even if you are part Aquaman always in the water and taking lessons.
Why is she skilling so fast is it a hidden Trait that can’t be seen or applied until young adult that is making this happen? Skilling up is part of the fun and watching them fumble around, but when she has mastered over half of her skills by the time she gets out of school in two weeks it’s very cheaty and I don’t like it. It seems to be random with some teenagers and no idea why.
Got sick of her skilling up soooooooo fast. Created a new Zoi teen girl and again she was skilling way too fast like it’s a bug and they can’t skill like a normal Zoi that takes days to even get 1 swimming point.
She skilled too fast started yet another one and still a Lively Genius but a family one instead of intellect and still she was skilling too fast.
Created a teen boy in Cahaya and his skills were normal speed by the time he got out of school after swimming lessons and swimming in ocean every day he was barely level 3 which is more like it.
Used to have a girl skilling at normal speed but 6 new teen girls started in Cahaya instead of Bliss Bay are super speed skilling it’s no fun that way might as well just start them out with all their skills maxed and have nothing to learn their entire life that’s no fun. How do I stop my newly created teen girls from skilling as if it’s just a motive increasing as fast as sleep?
Cooking is still super slow. My game has been going on for 50 days and I just hit level8.
I cook twice a day for my family with that Zoi.
Dunno about Swimming or Fitness, but the last thing cooking needs is to be made slower.
Hopefully the devs can adjust individual skill.
Way back in the Cahaya update, reaching level 10 cooking was impossible, you’d die of old age before reaching it. Just a warning about asking for skills to be slown down.
Ideally a slider on how fast/slow skillgain happen would be the perfect solution
What I am talking about is cooking 10 meals mango sticky rice 5x’s and Banana Cue 5x’s ONLY as a teenager and cooking is BOOM MAX now level 10.
Fitness worked out for 4 hours Zoi time approx. and BOOM MAX fitness.
Gardening planted 7 plots fertilized, watered, harvested 7 plots and BOOM MAX gardening.
Collecting Mining JUST the park spots once and BOOM MAX collecting.
Fishing Rented a boat 1 Time fished for 8 hours and BOOM MAX fishing.
Handiwork crafted pickaxe, rake got to level 2 so made Iron, Copper, Silver, Gold Fishing Rod and Iron, Copper, Silver, Gold Pickaxe…. and BOOM MAX Handiwork.
Critical Thinking just with homework 2 times and writing in journal 2 times and BOOM Level 7.
Performance Speaking in mirror 6 times and 1 busking session and BOOM Level 7.
Rhetoric with homework 2 times and checking in mirror 6 times and BOOM Level 5.
Housework so far vacuumed once for the 5 times and already level 2.
Programming 1 time schoolwork in school now Level 2 almost 3.
That is WAY too fast so YES I do want that cheaty thing removed or an option to turn off whatever is doing that cause she is more AI than human.
Hi @Killerpoet It appears this post concerns a bug, specifically that some teenage Zois in Cahaya are progressing skills far too quickly, rather than a wishlist, so I’ve updated the category accordingly.
@Samuriko there is a mod in the in game lobby mods called instant skill, and does work, you go through lvl 1 and you’re lvl 10, so if cooking or any other skills seem to be too slow, this mod maxes you instantly.
I agree @Killerpoet, I haven’t play enough to test all skills, but I did start a single young adult zoi just to see if painting was good income, and the money is too op, and I was lvl 10 way too fast, to become lvl 10 should have taking weeks, yet I was lvl 10 after about an hour of game play time, and for the large amount of players that play inZOI with growing families or just a couple do need progression and should get that feeling of accomplishment after working a wile to reach certain lvls.
If we start a new game and get every thing to Max lvl within a day of playtime, we beat the game, and now we’re looking for a next game to play, if it takes a wile to get Max lvls it will cause us to not only lvl up one household but to also lvl up more households with different traits
Completely not what I want.
But I want to reach level 10 before I die of old age, especially if I make an effort to use the skill.
No interest in that mod, like, at all.
@Killerpoet So it’s a Adolescent/teenager bug afterall, but I agree with you those 2 meals you mentioned seem to be really good for skilling up. I’ll focus on them a bit more to rise my skill faster, thanks for the tip !
A newly created Teenage Zoi. It doesn’t matter which meals are cooked with this bug, 10 meals equals skill 10 : hence a skilling bug.
No newly created teenager should master over half of their skills by the time they graduate 2 weeks later.
I play on 96 mins. So a teenager is Created in CAZ. Enters world Sunday, goes to school 2 weeks and grows up Sunday midnight by that time at least 16 of the 19 skills mastered.
Seems the bug is not attached to Baking, Coffee Craft, Mixing. These 3 seem to skill normally.
Did a test with a newly created young adult zoi and same problem she is not skilling normally 6 piles of rubble and BOOM she was at level 4 mining…. and so on.
So did a test and deleted all saved games in the lobby closed it and deleted all folders in my documents inZOI saves and booted up again.
Now she is skilling normally not a super speed so something is attaching itself to save games causing this super skilling bug.
Nice find, right now I have a lot of separate saves for building, and I’m going to delete all of these before starting full game plays after early access is complete into release, the first reason that it became like this for me was I spent time and edited every lot, business, and street in Cahaya, and then came a prompt to update to the newer version, which sets most of what I changed back to default, so before I do this again, I need to wait until after early access is completed.
