In rabbit hole jobs, solutions are randomly presented, the situation is briefly described, and you’re given 30 seconds to respond.
Firstly, many people don’t have time to read and make decisions quickly. Secondly, I’d like to fully assess the situation; many don’t understand what’s going on.
For example: my Zoe works as a lawyer. A selection icon appears while working in a rabbit hole, and the situation is briefly described. “You’re defending your client, but the court is holding firm, and you’re starting to think it’s hopeless. Your job is to defend the client. What will you do?” And then there are a number of questions about the case. What’s the reason for the court’s decision, what is his criminal record, what sentence does he face, etc. And you have to decide in 30 seconds.
Please provide more detail and remove the response timer, because it’s inconvenient and annoying.
This is important. I believe time should freeze in-game when players get any kind of pop up and just stay like that until the players takes a decision, without any countdown or anything. At the very least there should be an option to turn of countdowns for pop ups, if some people enjoy the thrill of having to make a quick decision.
There should also be an option to just ignore them altogether, IMO. Like chance cards in the Sims games where you could make a choice for a chance of either reward or punishment, or just ignore the card and nothing happens.
There’s a setting in the menu to disable the auto-countdown as well.
I don’t remember where as it’s been off since day one (April 14th 2025) for me.

I think it’s called something like “auto close notifications” or something. Idk if that setting affects the ones described by OP though.
I think it’s supposed to be this loosely translated as “automatic closing of pop-up windows” setting. You can find it in settings > gameplay > category “others”
