Dear kjun,
omg I cant believe it’s been a year! Time flies super fast. Anyways, today’s update was… legendary. Lemme just tell you that the updates you guys are dishing out make me feel like a kid in christmas morning again ![]()
The one im probbaly most excited for are highschools. Like ![]()

thank you so much for including it, this update would mean a LOT for family players (did you know there are only 3 proper school simulators on the market? Definitely an undeserved genre). Anyways, im hoping that when all systems are in place and are functional, you’d also open up elementary schools and maybe even the universities? Because elementary schools definitely haven’t been done before. It’s also a requested feature with family players. And naturally universities since they’ll benefit everyone. And maybe once universities do come along, make all careers require a degree (where it makes sense of course)? Naturally, you could sort the degrees into 3 categories and host classes per each degree “type” to compact it for the game or something? Life sims players arent that picky (if you know, you know).
Now onto misc features: would it be possible to make backpacks and umbrellas recolorable? I want them to be as unique as my zois and make a hello kitty umbrella. It’d give us more room for creativity. And also, please let us create our own uniforms while running a business instead of just having to choose presets since thr black really throws off the vibe in my all pink bakery ![]()
Also, could we get a “photo album” of sorts where we can take screenshots and upload them into the photo album and write descriptions, and when a zoi dies (and they have photos in the photo album) a little sideshow of the screenshots plays with the descriptions attached to them as well as a list of important milestones? It’d make players feel much more connected to the zois and deepen gameplay. Kinda like a cut scene saying goodbye to our zois and showing the kind of life they’d lead. Very similar to tomodachi life, but lower effort and entirely player directed. Since as you know, life sim players are very creative, it’d be a very good outlet of creativity and allow us to keep a diary of sorts. So a little like sims series blogs (super popular in the sims btw) but directly built into the game. Would be AMAZING with canvastown!
Also, Would it be possible to add a grim reaper into the game based on Jeoseung Saja? It will give the players more lore, and bonus points if you can set the mood next to bed with him (it’s super popular to woohoo with the grim reaper in the sims
). Maybe even the ability to have some sort of romance plot going on? Plus, it’ll basically show players inzoi’s roots and expose players to the Korean culture (which I think your president might approve of?). Plus, the bonus is that you guys ALREADY added the clothes last month, so all he’d need is a slight adjustment. Of course, i remember you saying you want to keep inzoi multicultural and not make the whole game based on korean culture, but i think s little bit should be fine.
Anyways, I hope you would consider this ![]()
Thank you as always, and i hope you and the team have a great weekend!
P.s.: you know that team photo you uploaded? Im hoping it’s gonna be hanging in the office somehwere to commemorate the very 1st anniversary
P.p.s: also, i saw that additional festivals are planned for the fall. Would it be possible to make one of them a pride parade? 45% of life sim players are lgbtq (and the main reason the genre even exists in the first place), and a pride parade would definitely improve the game’s reputation. Back when the game first came out and all townies were straight, it developed a reputation for being homophobic, and even though it’s been patched out quickly since then, i still see lies being spread around from time to time that i have to correct. A festival like that would 100% fix the reputation across those communities. You can call it rainbow festival or something and include rainbow themed food and recolorable rainbow flags, though proper pride flags would be preferred. The bonus is that it happens to be a summer festival (june), and there currently are no summer festivals in inzoi
Disregard the rest if you dont feel like finding out how the lgbtq connect to life simulators, but basically:
Back when the og sims was being developed, in the first game document, sims were supossed to be romance everyone. The boss didnt like that, and told them to fix it so that if a sim hits on another of the same gender, they’ll be slapped. Anyways, they finalized it and the boss went on vacation. The documents were handed to a developer, but it accidenly included the old documents where sims can romance eveyone regardless of gender. He didnt question it and just got to work. Anyways, during that time, E-con 2000 was approaching and EA said if the game doesnt generate headlines, they’re pulling the plug. Day of the convention, the developer streams a live gameplay on the screen, and in the background were a couple of female sims kissing and being romantic. Anyways, the crowd absolutely lost their minds and generated headlines, putting this game on everybody’s radar, especially the LGBTQ. After the uproar, EA was forced to keep the lgbtq aspects in and this was badically what made the genre in the first place
