InZOI Won't Launch After Hotfix v0.7.2

Nope.. it is still the same for me. I even created a new zoi, put him in a house, save the game and exit to the lobby and when i tried to load the latest saved game, it crashed.

Would you please upload one or more of those save files your setup fails to open? I’ll test them with my setup. This can help to determine whether the file is corrupted or your game or settings might be the cause for this :slightly_smiling_face:

I’m not sure whether it’s important or not but just for additional info.

After game loads , everything looks odd, like a negative print picture. I am also, unable to move or do anything at all with my inzoi

Hey, any updates on this?

I wanna play Inzoi so bad but the ones that i already saved i can’t load it. So it’s like my Zois are for one time use only.

No official news just yet, but I think the devs are already trying really hard to fix it.

I just tested your save file (thanks for sharing :folded_hands:) on my setup and was able to load in without any issues. As expected, this confirms that the bug / technical issue does not corrupt the files in general. That’s great news :slightly_smiling_face:

Here’s what we can try now. I saved your file with a new name after playing for a few in-game minutes to verify that it works as intended. I’ll upload it here. You can make a backup of your existing one and remove it from the inZOI game folder please.

20260404-020617.usvx (5.1 MB)
→ new save file titled “Morgan_NEW”

Then you implement this new one as follows:

  1. Go to your save files and create a new folder with the exact numbers of the file I just sent you (20260404-020617)
  2. Put the new save file in there
  3. Then create another new folder with the same numbers right next to the save file
  4. Now you can boot up the game and check if it works

I don’t want to get your hopes up too high, but it’s worth giving it a shot. Please report back to let us know how it went :slightly_smiling_face:

Unfortunately, it still doesn’t work though. I can’t figure out what’s causing this. May I know are you using Nvidia RTX 50series GPU to test out my save file? Cause i read that only the RTX 50 series are having these crashes.

Yes, it’s only the 50 series causing this issue, but the test confirmed that the save files themselves aren’t corrupted. For me as legacy player that’s always the most important info, because losing my Zois and their progress would be a pain =/

What came to my mind, because I’ve heard that the newly released LiS Reunion game crashes too, is can you guys check if the game uses the highest graphics card when booting? I know that some driver and game updates can sometimes reset the setup’s booting choice for some games

So even with the latest hotfix i still can’t load my saved game. This is becoming very furstrating. I even tried the workaround from other thread of crashes and it still keep crashing when i try to load a saved game.

Did you already try the latest solution for launching issues suggested by the devs?

Hello @KakThicc,
I have merged your topic here so that we can track on the issue better. We are currently checking on the issue. Could you try the method below and tell us if it works?

Thank you.

With the v0.7.4 Hotfix, I just tried loading my saved game again and also tried the method that was recommended by @AR_Luna but it still crashed when I’m at the loading screen.

0.7.4 Does Not Fix Crash Issue

Hi @Cryshah, thank you for the detailed report and for attaching the log files.

Could you let us know whether you’re on a desktop or laptop, and share your PC specs (CPU, GPU, RAM)? This will help our team investigate the issue more quickly.

It doesn’t look like the hot fixes [v0.7.4] from today nor yesterday’s [v0.7.3] resolved the crashing at startup (or in game) for any of us here.

The only thing working for some of us is either:

  • disabling the hardware gpu scheduling feature thru Windows graphic settings while playing inZOI (works for some but sacrifices the graphics, resulting in poor visuals)
  • unplugging the laptop while the game launches because it temporarily allows us to bypass the crashing then plugging it back in once the game fully loads (works for most)
  • streaming our game thru Discord video call (works for few)

None of these strategies are really ideal and I know you are all working hard to resolve this crashing issue. Just letting you know the hot fixes dropping to fix “some crashing issues” hasn’t fixed ours.

Hello

Any update? :frowning:

I know you are doing your best trying to find the issue but is any time expected to fix the issue?

I really miss going back to the game ..

Hi! I tried to modify the system file value but we’re getting the same error. Also, I was reading the post by @coya_nade about power supply, and I’m starting to have a doubt.

I have two identical desktop PCs with the following specs–>

Device name DESKTOP-KERVATC
Processor Intel(R) Core™ i5-14400 (2.50 GHz)
Installed RAM 64.0 GB (63.6 GB usable)
Graphics card NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti (8 GB)
Storage 259 GB of 932 GB used
Device ID 646151C8-B490-4DE8-B9FF-24D71A892A08
Product ID 00330-80000-00000-AA555
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

Edition Windows 11 Pro
Version 25H2
Installation date: 27/05/2025
Operating system build 26200.8117
Experience Windows Features Experience Pack 1000.26100.297.0

On one desktop PC not powered by a UPS, the game starts normally even without having to modify the GPU settings.

However, the second PC has an EPYC NYTRO UPS with the following specs–>

Currently, the game startup issues that appeared a few days after the March update are affecting the DESKTOP PC powered by the UPS. However, the UPS was already active even before I encountered the problem. The only way to play today is to underclock the GPU.
