Yes. they do it often. I don’t think it’s a genuine bug, but a mechanism they haven’t quite fine-tuned yet and I hope they do. ---

They need to rework the eating logic. I posted a suggestion about it a few weeks ago. ---

I have the same problem. I had three birthdays in three days. There was lots of cake and party food, but zois would ignore it and go to the fridge for food. There are plates of half-eaten cake, etc., everywhere. ---

This happens to me often too. Even when some dish is sitting on the table, they’ll go to the fridge for pasta in a container instead. Not to mention how many such plates and containers with spoiled food end up in the inventory of family members you return to after a break during a turn-based game. ---

Yes, the bag is another issue. I’ve gotten into the habit of checking their bag to take food out. I don’t see them put it in there, but there it is, getting spoiled. There have been times when it seemed handy because my zoi was hungry, but as soon as they took the food out, it went bad. ---

My Zois’ bag is full of food, because they insist on putting it in the bag after cooking it. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner times have become a problem because they keep putting their dishes in the bag instead of eating them. Sometimes I have to let them leave for school or wousrk hungry because I wasted meal time taking the dishes out of their inventory to put them on the table. And even if I get to rescue the dish, and manage to leave it on the table, when I select the dish and choose the “eat” interaction, they won’t eat unless I make them sit down in their chairs first. This has been going on for weeks in my game, to the point that sometimes I need to use cheats to satisfy their hunger because it’s so time-consuming to struggle just to get them to sit down and eat their meals. Please, please fix this bug and make the Zois eat from their plates while sitting at the table again, as they used to do. Thank you! ---

As I understand it, it got even worse after the 0.8.0 update: now Zoi takes food from the fridge **(which is for the whole family)** and does not put it on the table or anywhere. And when you click either take a portion or eat a portion, nothing happens. You have to put the dish on the table manually and then take a piece of this dish. **It’s kind of wrong.** I don’t think they will fix this in version 0.9, since it wasn’t even mentioned, so we look forward to the next update, **but we definitely need to keep this issue at the top.**
