is very true but unfortunately, the issue of textures are still a bit unclear. I think if you really don’t want it to be reuploaded at all - that you should report this creation because the creator did ignore your request and that is not ok.
That’s good news and I’m so glad to hear that. We absolutely need an automated system for the textures as well as that option to allow/disallow our creations from being re-uploaded. It will help so many creators - like you say, to share and grow at the same time. Your artwork is really impressive and I certainly would like to see more of it ![]()

Thank you so much.
I love making art with AI. And I would love the opportunity to essentially have my work showcased in builds if it would actually help others find my creations.
Edit: But I still want control on each upload individually, if possible. Then I can make something special (like the zoi requests I’ve done), and the other person can show off their gift after customizing it some, but I would still be acknowledged even if the uploader honestly forgot where the creation came from.
Of course
If you could have the option to allow it - I would absolutely use them![]()
This is exactly why it should be included in the Canvas upload template as an option. Then you can decide what you would like to share and what can or can’t be re-uploaded by others.

Absolutely! We need control per upload.
Any type of preset we can upload to Canvas should have the option to allow or disallow re-uploading. Perhaps there should be levels to it. Such as enabling re-uploads only with alterations (someone has customized the item), while someone might feel comfortable with someone re-uploading something without any changes at all (makeup presets are an example I thought of).
The options would apply to any presets we upload, such as my artwork in frames are furniture presets that include a custom texture. The furniture preset and the texture might be treated differently by the system just by necessity.

About textures on their own.
I like that they’ve given us the “private textures” option that protects textures from re-use to-a-point. People used to computers will find them easily and can just steal them and make the system give them credit for it. The only alternatives I’ve considered for even stronger texture protection could be overcome by people with more expertise than the average user—but the community has its fair share of modders, so true protection isn’t possible.
With the “Private Texture” option, people are able to take textures and re-use them with their own creator name attached instead of the true creator. But they have to download the item at least!
If a person makes their textures available for re-use, they are displayed on the upload so you can preview what’s in the upload. But they made those previews clickable, enabling thieves to just click and save the image to their computer. They can re-upload the texture without even giving the original creator a single download number.
That shocks me.
I trust you and other builders in this thread because we’re all on the same page with regards to respecting creators.
As long as you add me as a contributor and drop a comment on the art uploads that were used, that would make me happy. ![]()
This goes for all the amazing builders in this conversation. ![]()
Hello everyone, i am just now seeing this. I thought i was alone in feeling like this “frustrated”. I was sending messages straight to Inzoi about all of this since they have dropped this game. I came across this thread today. I feel a lot better knowing it’s not only me feeling this way and also feel upset that it is happening to all of you as well. I had a lot of my creations re-uploaded without any credit and mentioning it, i got someone arguing with me about it. I suggested a long time ago about making textures private and builds, creations etc. Like Sims or IMVU. You just get the finished project but the Original creators name stays on that project no matter what, even if they modify it (Sims). Different for IMVU because we have a shop that people buy from but if another creator steals your creation there’s a DMCA in place and they act quickly on that, you will be banned from IMVU and the item/items will be removed from that creators shop. I feel bad that it is happening to at lot of us and the people that are doing it simply don’t care. I upsets me, when Inzoi say report them and i do, nothing is done but the person that re-uploaded are getting more likes using someone else’s creations. That is not right. I do appreciate when i asked they put in making textures private and adding block. They honored that and put it in. But more needs to be done. Thank you for making this thread. I voted yes. I know this was done in April i see. But thank you.
This is news to me - I did not know that and you are right - it is shocking. I also found this comment on Reddit and it helped me to understand the whole topic of texture sharing more so I have been making mine private since. I didn’t really want to download anyone’s textures because I was worried I might make a mistake and include or use textures by mistake. Anyway, I do agree that the sharing of textures could be adjusted to better suit original creators as well.
That’s good to know @Starwing Thank you for clearing that up and for trusting me and all the other builders in this thread
I am positive we are all on the same page and have respect for each others creations.
Hey @TruSkyy I’m so sorry you also had to deal with this frustrating issue as well.
We are hopeful that even more protection features will be available soon considering the recent developments regarding reporting offenders as mentioned here
Thank you so much for voting and for supporting this topic ![]()

Hey @VIBES That is so good to hear. That is a stress relief. It is good to read your screenshot, that Inzoi are now taking action against offenders. I am glad to hear that. Thank you Vibes for started this thread also and all the other creators that voted to get this ball rolling. Thank you!!! ![]()
Thank you so much for your kind words and I’m really glad this update brings some peace of mind.
It’s been a true community effort, and it’s great to see the feedback from creators being heard. A huge thank you to everyone who shared their experiences, voted, and helped to keep the conversation going.
Hopefully this is the start of positive changes on Canvas for the InZOI creator community..!!
