How to override the computer screen inside the lobby with your own video (Steam Windows)

How to override the computer screen inside the lobby

First you will need a short video. I haven’t tested how long a video should be to for the lobby to be able to reproduce it without issue, but the original lobby slideshow is 19 seconds long. Once you have the video you want to upload, follow the short tutorial bellow.

p.s. if you are not that tech savvy, or you just can’t be bothered, I have made some screensavers for the lobby and shared them in my tumbrl here.

01. Go to your steam folder > steamapps > common > inZOI > BlueClient > Content > Movies

02. Copy the video called “MS_LobbyMov01.mp4” and paste it somewhere safe. This is your back up in case you want to go back to the original. I have been playing with a custom screen for several days without any issue, so you shouldn’t have an issue either.

03. Change the name of your custom video to “MS_LobbyMov01”.

04. Copy your custom video into the steam path I mentioned above, where the original video is located: steam folder > steamapps > common > inZOI > BlueClient > Content > Movies.

When asked if you want to replace, say yes.

That’s it! Next time you open the game, you should be able to see the changes.
