Steps to Reproduce: Package delivery for freelance career
My Zoi got licensed for the package delivery freelance career.
They accepted a night delivery, went to pick up the package, but then it was not possible to deliver it to the specified person—the action kept canceling. I tried to take the package out of the bag, but in this case the delivery action no longer appeared among the possible actions.

I think this sounds a lot like this issue: Zoe not available for delivery (freelance gig) → haven’t tried that career myself just yet, but once I get to it, I’ll report back 
It’s similar, but in my case the Zoi to whom I need to deliver the package is present at the indicated location. I click on it and the “delivery” action appears, but then it gets cancelled without my Zoi being able to deliver it.
My zoi does freelance delivery and she went to receive the package from the 1st client and he gave it to her, but task is still showing that she needs to pick it up. When I click on the client there is no option to receive again. Map is also still showing the same pickup location instead of drop-ff location.

is anyone else having the issue with delivery jobs where the person is at the location, but the only options are to show affection or create conflict and both those interactions cancel out? i was doing delivery jobs with no issue until the option to receive or gift item stopped appearing and started being replaced with two completely irrelevant actions

Yes, I’ve encountered a similar issue. I received the package but there was no recipient, which prevented me from completing the delivery. I was forced to overdue or cancel the order, which affected my professional rating and resulted in penalty fees.
Moreover, this problem persists even after restarting the game, and I hope it can be fixed promptly!
I also have issues with delivery from time to time - maybe like every 8th delivery something like this happens.
But in my case it is a little different then described here. The person to pick up or in another case the person to whom we need to deliver is present and I even have the option in the dialog to “deliver” or “recieve”. Also my Zoi is able to perform the action but after he does the game does to recognize the action to be completed. Clicking the other Zoi again does not bring anything as the dialog option is not available anymore. I also tried to go somewhere else and come back but still the same. Also the delivery icon over the head of the relevant Zoi does not go away. Basically the performed action is not counted even if it was performed and with that the job is stuck and you can only abort it and pay the penalty…
Anybody else having this issue as well?
Sometimes I have the feeling the game wants to deliver some real drama to us with these bugs. The drama of the “life is unfair” kind and let us experience in game how an innocent Zoi is being accused of crime.
Just had one of those failed deliveries again. I was able to get the package and I was able to deliver the package to the recipient but the delivery did not count and the freelance job was not considered completed. Then my Zoi did something else and I did not pay attention to his mobile right away and as it seems missed to pay the penalty fee. I did not know we only have an hour or 2 to pay it.
Then the police came to arrest my Zoi who had done everything correctly and did not even have the delivery item because he delivered it properly. He had to pay bail to not go to jail (1000), then for the lawyer (1000), then for the court prep (3000) and thus lost 5000 of his hard earned money for doing nothing wrong.
Fortunately the court found him to be innocent at least.
Such consequences of the bugs are really annoying as he was working for quite some time to earn the 5000 only to spend it on a false accusation. I hope it gets fixed.
