I have experienced that the name tag stops working for some zois temporarily (for a few seconds up to a minute), but whenever I switch to another zoi, it starts working again. Fortunately, I didn’t have to reload due to this so far. Thanks for reporting this 
It’s gotten worse since I’ve posted about it. Now it happens constantly. I think the issue occurs when switching between Zois in different locations and switching between households.
Would you please upload the affected save file(s) here if you happen to have it still? If the folder is too large, take a look at my guide: How to locate which Save File to send [Guide] → it’ll show you which single file is needed

I experience that too, it’s hard to see zoi info now
If I’m instructed by a mod to send the files or upload them, I will. It’s been happening in all of my saves, not just an old one.
Of course, feel free to wait for any mods to ask for it =)
To the team: There are currently two older threads related to the same bug. The oldest one is this: Zoi hover text / tooltip randomly stops working until reload → The second one from less than a month ago is this: [ 0.8.6 ] Cycling through families disables the mouse-over for zoi’s name and relationship bars overview.
Please merge all of them to increase attention. Thank you in advance 
This started happening to me after the recent hotfix (v0.10.2). I recreated the issue on 2 new saves after disabling mods; I am playing on windows 11 with high specs. It only seems to happen when switching between household members who are far apart, like on separate lots. Returning to the lobby and reloading the save restores the hover information ui but it disappears again as soon as you recreate that scenario.
I have a new vanilla save that I was able to recreate it in just for this bug, if any mods would like the file.
I’ve had this issue since the v0.9 update. It used to happen when switching between zois far away, now it just seems to stop working regardless.
