The same thing happened to me. All the suitors I wanted to choose a husband from disappeared. 
Getting those messages is not new, or a bug. This is normal behavior that has been around since the 0.1.0 days
Some Zois are temporary and will leave town after a few days/weeks.
THAT SAID, I had not seen that message in any of my games since 0.2.0 hit in June last year.
What you got there is a rare Jewel of something I thought lost like many other game features they removed without giving us a choice or an explanation. But at least they used to send you that message.
The new “Bug” is where they disappear without notice, which is very weird and annoying.
But it sucks when it’s your only BFF or an actual prospect for relationship.
Which is why if you like someone, marry them fast to get them as a permanent resident of the town.
You can always divorce them later if you change your mind.

ps after today i couldn’t help taking notice the short handed answers from the team when people tried to get some answers or information of the most pressing bugs that has been going on for few months now. It made me feel it’s a bit puzzled and a bit drained .. since it’s now uncertain the bugs are being reviewed or being worked on so i am standing down until i am seeing full proof the bug reports are being taken care of.
It feels pointless in trying to help at this state and i also urge the team to take a stand if the forum is going to be a good place to drop a bug report or not.
I need a break from all of this..

I’m sorry to hear that but it is frustrating because it makes you not even want to play the game anymore its really a trash bug.
God thought I was crazy and it was happening to me alone, I bought the game on May 28th and all my friends and partners kept dying, on the discord they told me to touch the city options, but that didn’t make much sense to me, because they keep dying, but okay, it seems like it’s a bug, hopefully they fix it as soon as possible, it really ruins the basic experience of having relationships with other ZOIS

I reported it sorry i am pretty wornout but i hat a chat with the office and they are working on.
They are fully aware of every bug that the game is currently having but they do not have any other information to share besides that they are working on them.

ps i figured i could do this before i take a break i would like to add two more savefiles created today in one you can see that i can contact both friends both by text and by calling then the season shifted and now i can only text one of them since the game have most likely tried to remove the second.
Since lee lives in the city the game cannot remove him like it has done before .
My zoi can only call him and lee have stopped texting as well
The other friend Yoo is still around and it makes sense since i think that his business is keeping him safe from being deleted by the game because this game is killing off zois that got no home in the city or business that protects them.
