Here is my so-called list of “Mosquito Bugs” (and other annoying issues).
Actual Bugs :
Celebrating a birthday will age a zoi when blowing the candles, but the same zoi will age again at midnight, costing them an extra day of their lives.
Cannot put objects on walls any higher than one or 2 square off the ground. Personally noticed for large paintings and some wall hanging plants.
Children and Adolescents no longer get their homework when finishing school. Sometimes they will appear at 5pm.
Forever thin bug. Any played zoi family will melt and all zois will become super skinny.
In Build mode, Items will disappear if you redraw walls after placing them.
Mini-map keeps popping back up every time you load a game, even when off in the Options.
Music no longer plays when the “Miracle of Life” screen appears.
No lights (and sometimes no sounds) when using the “Store in Fridge” option.
Portraits do not memorize Zois who age up. Getting stuck with child or toddler portraits forever.
Scheduled wedding will disappear from the schedule if a “severe weather” event occurs.
Somehow the Wednesday gets turned off and you can’t turn it back on, removing work days, school days, and other planned events.
The “Clean here” action can no longer be queued. The new one will erase the older one.
Townies do not age to the next age group on their own, they get stuck on their last day.
UI keeps resetting each new game, overwriting older games too. It should memorize forever.
Unable to cancel the “Vent Anger” on a vending machine, and if cancelled via an “emergency rescue” cops still chase you and apply cuff animation.
When creating a baby with medical procedure, the last name will show in the first name slot.
When adopting, the first and last name are inverted.
When reaping harvest of Banana/Mango trees, their water level will reset to 100%.
Annoying Issues, not necessarily bugs :
Door permissions, being able to lock rooms for use by only certain Zois
Eating and Drinking take too long on anything but the 48min time per day.
Eating logic of Zois need a total rework, I suggested the fix many times on Brainstorms and I beleive on the forum too.
Impossible to move a family if you have Newborns or Toddlers, also being unable to move these two in other families.
In version 0.1.0 era, when an adult went to do the laundry, a child would AUTO-JOIN the adult if they had the laundry preference. Should be added back.
Needs depletion still feel off, and has been feeling that way since 48min became the default. The overtime need depletion needs to be adjusted per time/day setting.
Not being able to create Newborns, Toddlers and Adolescents in the CAZ. You could design their adult look then retrograde them to the first 2 without losing their appearance.
Not being able to save all clothes of all category on one export (be it a zoi itself, or saving a wardrobe independent of the zoi).
Not being able to get a house loan without buying a pre-made house. Let us pick a lot and a house, and if we lack money when accepting, offer a loan.
Since 0.8.0, Zois will TAKE OUT laptops in their pack to use it, then leave it wherever, even in public (gets lost/stolen). Either put it back when you stop for any reasons, or don’t take it out w/o player input.
Sleep gauge fills from 20-25% to 100% in 3½ hours (Tested in 96min time per day). Should take 8 hours to fill it from 0 to 100%, so ~6hours from 25%
Some way to sort textures. Suggested many times in the brainstorms, but that is not the only solution. Being able to drag’n’drop in folders for textures in build mode would also work.
Zois not using umbrellas, and being unable to carry umbrellas in their bags anymore.
Zois not using their raincoats when raining if not carrying an umbrella.
Zois not changing into their school attire as son as leaving for school (especially “child” age-group, but others too, let them dress with their school clothes as soon as they wake up on school days).
Zois putting tablets/laptop in their bags without the player’s prompting them to do so.
Zois not fixing their own “water” furniture when they break and slipping on the floor, killing themselves, even though they love repairing or at least a zoi of the household loves doing it.
Zois no longer playing piano/synthesizer when you have that preference AND one of the 2 instruments at home, always defaulting on the Guitar instead.
Zois should use the closest closet to their bed (ideally in their room) when changing to go to bed.
Zois need to get urges based on their preferences again, they are extremely rare now.
Zois knowing instantly if their partner is cheating, even when not near them or in places where friends of both would not see them.
Zois reading books endlessly. It is crazy to a point where they almost always do that. They keep putting them in their bags too. This is a new one, and very annoying.
Zois throw away rewards, gifts and purchased pocket market trinkets as if they were trash.
See anything I forgot? post here and I will add them.
See anything that’s fixed and I have not noticed? Let me know and I will remove them from the list.
PS: This is not really a suggestion thread, but more important bugs and annoyance we suggest the devs should fix ASAP.

Hello, I assure you that you do not need any saves to reproduce these problems. This is not an isolated case of a save error - these are global flaws in the game itself. Because I have the same problems as everyone else. It’s just that one of the players put it all together and wrote it in one post. You just need to start a new game on version 0.8.6 and you will find these errors yourself.

We would like to kindly ask for your save file, as some issues can be difficult to reproduce in our internal testing environment. In many cases, reviewing the affected save file allows us to investigate the issue much more accurately and efficiently.
We will also try to reproduce the issue ourselves in a new game on our side. However, if we are unable to reproduce it, we may need to examine the save file where the issue originally occurred. To help avoid any delays and speed up the investigation process, we would greatly appreciate it if you could provide the save file in advance.

Not all of this bothers me, only partially, but from my own experience I’ll add that I buy expensive items from the pocket market or I’m given rewards that I place on a dresser or nightstand (doesn’t matter where), but my Zoe after some time just throws out all this stuff and wealth themselves((((
If my current savegame can help you I’ll gladly provide it.
In my current one, my family reads books almost non-stop, Samuriko (main Zoi) plays guitar and not synthesizer with having Piano preference.
And 100% have the non-aging bug for the townies (many are stuck at their last day in their age group and if you play them while midnight happen, they will age. Otherwise they remain stuck )

I’d also like to suggest introducing some features that would make gameplay less frustrating.
Turning off music equipment\TV without direct interaction from Zoe with the object. So that this action works autonomously, without adding it to the character’s action list.
Taking out already-prepared food from the fridge with instant selection of the desired dish. So that the available food options open immediately, rather than when it’s time in the character’s action panel. Because when switching between characters, this action is easy to miss. Then you have to send the character back to the fridge and wait for them to open it to be sure to select a dish, so the character is guaranteed to eat.
Similarly to actions with the fridge and music, it would be much more convenient to select a dish to cook immediately. As soon as you click “cook,” a menu with dish options should pop up right away. So you don’t have to wait for this action to queue up, since when switching between characters, this action also gets cancelled and the character doesn’t cook anything as a result.
Often “clean up” or “put away in the fridge” doesn’t work directly from the character’s inventory. Most of the time you have to take the item out onto any surface first, and only then does further interaction with it work.
