Hello inzoi team! I have a suggestion regarding Zoi conversations, specifically about their positioning during dialogue. Currently, characters always sit down before starting a conversation if there’s a bench, couch, etc. nearby. However, there are often situations where I’d like the characters to continue talking while standing instead of sitting down. Outside, it’s a bit easier to manage — I can move to a location without benches and the characters will talk while standing. But in a home lot, the situation is quite different. In almost 100% of cases, if Zois are at home, when I try to make them talk while standing, they’ll still go looking for somewhere to sit to have the conversation. They literally go to another room where there’s a couch to start talking, even though I wanted them to talk in the room they were originally in and do it while standing
Sorry, I hope I haven’t confused you!)
Basically, I’d like us to have the ability to choose whether we want to talk to characters while standing or sitting. For example, if our character starts a conversation with a standing Zoi, they continue talking while standing. If during the conversation we want to move to the couch, we could click on the couch and select something like “Talk while sitting” and then the characters would move to the couch. If our character is sitting before starting the conversation (or the one we want to talk to is sitting), then either our character would sit next to the other, or the other Zoi would sit next to us. And also, if the characters are initially sitting during a conversation, we could click on the floor/ground and select “Continue conversation here” so the characters would stand up, move to the right place, and chat there.
I’ve wanted to suggest this for a while — right now I’m creating a lot of stories in my game, and these seemingly small details have a huge impact on how their dialogues/situations are perceived overall, and on the game’s feel and usability!
