Longer interactions (PLEASE :D)

I know this has been mentioned more than once, but I’ll bring it up again. Dear developers, please improve the duration of interactions. In responses to comments, Kdjun has already written that the community is requesting longer animations for various interactions, which means the team is aware of this. But then an update with high school comes out and we have the same problem all over again with new actions. The duration of the new American football ball game interaction is incredibly short—why is that?:cry: Please pay attention to this!

Make it so that interactions like these (especially sports ones) last much longer. In The Sims and Paralives, there are interactions that have no set duration at all—the character can perform them as long as the player doesn’t stop the action themselves, or until the character wants to do something else (if autonomy is enabled).

I want to watch longer as my character runs on a treadmill, plays with a ball, lies down and tans (the tanning animation is extremely short), works out on a yoga mat, plays guitar, practices on a surfboard, and so on. These interactions should be meaningful, not just “demo versions.”

In other simulators, I can send my character to play guitar and that interaction only ends when I cancel it or when the character’s needs drop significantly. And with autonomy turned off, the character can do this for a very long time, sit at the computer for extended periods, etc.

Sorry for the comparisons with other simulators—I’d rather avoid this—but this topic is so important. Lately I’m playing inzoi more and more and I’m really enjoying it, so I think my heartfelt feedback will help make the gameplay even better! Besides the food animation, it would be worth making it shorter​:joy:

Maybe an option could be (with the guitar example) to choose if we just “play one song” and keep the animation short or to “keep playing/practicing” and play without limit. I would love that since I want my Zois to level skills while I control another Zoi without needing to switch every few seconds to click on the interaction again :sob::sob:

I agree! The animations for kids are ridiculously short. When playing in the kitchen, the child would wave a spoon a couple of times and the game would end. Same thing with games at the playground. It’s always interesting to watch when a character is actually engaged in something and does it for a long time.

Right now, the animations for cooking, programming, and listening to music look decent in terms of duration.

I totally get you!! Constantly switching between characters is so exhausting, I just want to set an interaction and “forget” about the character, knowing that they’re busy doing what needs to be done​:sob::sweat_smile:

I agree with your guitar example — specific melodies should end naturally (like they do in the game now), but the interaction “practice playing guitar” or “train” should take much longer!

Yes! I agree with your comment! When I play, I get the feeling that everything around is just set dressing and all these interactions are just "trial runs":sob::sweat_smile: because of those short animations(( I really hope they fix this and we can immerse ourselves in the game more deeply​:folded_hands:t2:
