Bulling system to school

As I know bulling in schools is very emotional and important in the Korea. Also I hear that in Japan too. And I approve that same for Russia. So this is overall problem. So maybe add this system and ways to solve it? For teens to be able to bulling smbd, help npc teens to help with bulling and stop that also maybe new job to adults to inspect schools and prevent bulling

Personally, I think this is a very sensitive topic that has led to real-life tragedies, and I don’t think it belongs in a game. InZOI is primarily meant to be enjoyable. That said, everyone is entitled to their own opinion

I think adding some mean girl/guy behaviours can be fun and create a lot of drama, but bullying in real life is very damaging to the individuals suffering it and in some countries like Korea it sometimes takes extreme and disturbing shapes. You can already make enemies and pick fights, I think that can add more drama and fun that bullying itself.

Someone will probably make a mod about it when the script mods are available, since they already existed for TS4. But for the game to actually display it, particularly a korean game I don’t think it will be added, and I am glad if they don’t add it honestly.

I agree with @Moooody I would maybe push it to something like social groups. Sims 3 had a cool system for that. Those social groups sometimes clashed a little, but it was not in a bullying kind of way. (pic below)

Maybe something like a rival or as Moody suggested a “mean” girl/guy (like a cliché jock, who is super popular, arrogant and has this entourage along side him). I think games like inZoi are often a comfort zone for people, so I don’t think implementing something like straight up bullying as a set game mechanic is advisable.

I also am not sure how it would be executed in the game. Who will be the victim of the bullying? Is it random? Is it always a player character? How will it influence the Zoi later on? Is the player the bully?

All in all, I think a straight up “bully” system is not the way. Conflict, sure. But this topic may be too triggering for a lot of people, since bullying can cause severe trauma. I get the aspect of realism, but we also need to draw the line of what needs to be in a life sim game and what is better left out.

I agree it should be something similar to the Sims 3 system.

How for me, better add exactly bulling. You can be bully, you can be under bulling, npc can be bullied/bully. Also player should be able to helps with bulling to npc or sister/brother.

Social group is social group, its like afterclass meets by interests in Japan, this isn’t even close.

If some players feel so much drama, so better add that function be avoidable. Turn on/off in settings

P.S. If smbd thought that it could be trauma and drama for bullied people in past - let us decide. I was bullied for 8+ years: I go to school earlier (father decision), will be finish school earlier much faster than others child (because start younger), weared glasses, look cute, study well, dont look enough strong to possible be against bulliers.

And I agree with @Meroshiro. In a game where you can shoot down people with cars and know how to die in many ways (Zoi can stupidly be devoured by a shark in the ocean) and not realize that a sufficiently adult and popular problem like bullying at school is, to put it mildly, not right. I think that we players (most of us) don’t need a vanilla game where everything is just fine — where peace, friendship and a unicorn threw up on a rainbow (for this we have Sims 4) And in general, I believe that InZoi should not be kind to the player, but it should not be evil either. It should be difficult for the player (to play it, oddly enough), but also not be impassable. There needs to be a balance between good and evil, and we, the players, must receive what we ourselves seek and attract during the game.

To clarify my point, I am not saying that inZOI should be completely free of conflict or unpleasant behaviour. Arguments, rivalries, cliques, rumours, exclusion and occasional cruel interactions can all make a life simulation feel more believable.

My concern is specifically with turning bullying into a dedicated autonomous system, especially when children and teenagers are involved. Bullying is not simply one rude interaction or a fight between rivals. It usually involves repeated targeting and a power imbalance. That raises questions about how the game would choose a victim, how often it could happen, whether the same Zoi could be repeatedly targeted, and what meaningful consequences or support systems would exist.

An on/off toggle would certainly help players who do not want this content, but a toggle alone would not guarantee that the system was handled responsibly or that it would be enjoyable gameplay.

Personally, I think a broader social-conflict system would fit inZOI better. Zois could form rivalries, spread rumours, exclude someone from an activity, defend friends, report mistreatment or face consequences for repeated cruel behaviour. If the same Zoi repeatedly targeted another, the game could recognise that pattern as bullying and offer appropriate responses, rather than randomly assigning permanent “bully” and “victim” roles.

That would allow darker and more realistic school experiences without turning sustained abuse into a casual drama mechanic. My question is not whether difficult subjects may exist in a life simulator, but how far the game should simulate them and whether the implementation adds meaningful gameplay rather than trauma for its own sake.

It just makes me wonder where the devs are supposed to draw the line with traumatic, dark topics

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Personally, I’m not in favor of it.

Maybe if it were implemented in a toned-down or more subtle way, but not in the raw form of outright harassment.

Or it could exist as an optional mod for those who want that kind of experience.

That was what I meant in my comment. A refined social system would be the better approach in my opinion as well

Stop accusing people just because they don’t want a bullying system, It is a game, not real life

My friend nobody is blaming anyone here. She only talked about how he sees life through rose tinted glasses that’s all.

I just don’t like when the exchange goes into personal territory
