Not a huge deal but I did not want them to be married, just by moving them into together.
I do not see a similar report but open to one - my Zois were engaged and then moved in with eachother, and it automaticlaly married them >_<
Is that expected? I mean, I did not expect it but curious if I should have? I think it is a bug until someone tells me I’m wrong.

Steps to Reproduce:
This is absolutely a bug! Zois should inly get married after a proper wedding ceremony, so you are not crazy haha.
After they now appear as married, I’m guessing any wedding ceremony interaction is not available?
This isn’t new. My Zoi wasn’t even engaged but he proposed automatically. @shanonoyouknow @Moooody 
What do you mean they proposed automatically? When your zoi moved out with their boyfriend/girlfriend? Can you expand on the situation? It might help find what the issue is.
2 women my household. = they were soulmates but they got engaged out of nowhere without me intervening. I was outside the house in the park looking after another Zoi.
Ah, but that seems like normal autonomy stuff then? Like they autonomously got engaged but not necessarily related to a bug

I had reported this problem as well but it doesn’t really resemble this issue. My Zoi’s are still behaving the same way.
There is another bug report on this issue and I’ve been coming into that thread and checking in periodically, but still no fix. It’s been going on for a couple of months now. I can’t play my story the way I want or even complete the love aspiration without my zois automatically getting married upon engagement. Like I get 2 notifications back to back: engaged and married. I want them to have a prolonged engagement, but it’s not possible right now because of the bug. I’ve reported it and I’ve seen people reporting it, but it still has not been added to the known issues for some reason. I’m getting a bit frustrated.

For me, they were engaged.
Then, I used the “move in with each other” action and when the “move” was complete, they were married and I got the “marriage” pop up.
But ultimately I really agree with you, and I’d hope that moving in with each other would not prompt an automatic marry. One does not equal the other, although quite similar.
