PLEASE ADD ADOPTABLE CATS!
You already have cats walking around the city — they have models, animations, sounds, and interactions. They look like real pets, but players still can’t adopt them or bring them home.
Please let us adopt, name, feed, play with, care for, and build relationships with cats. It would make the world feel so much more alive and give players another reason to love their Zoi’s home.
The cats are already here. We just need the option to bring one home. 
Please make adoptable pets a priority. We’re ready to give these little guys a home! 
Yes, please! In every Sims game I’ve played, I’ve always had pets, so not having them makes it feel like something is missing. Not to mention, it’s such a tease seeing cats and other animals throughout the cities but not being able to bring them home!
Well, my cat allows me to have cats in the game too. But they should please behave as realistically as possible and not embarrass his species. It would also be nice if they actually swatted at each other sometimes and generally had a mind of their own. And of course, they should sleep in the beds and secretly sit on the kitchen counters. Stealing food is also just part of being a cat.
As for the dogs in the game, he declined to comment…
The idea of implementing pets, having animals and expanding to the farm (which I think many of us are looking forward to) seems great to me, and on my part everything that can be interacted with them is welcome. It would also be great if in the future they add rescuing birds or something similar.
On a personal opinion level and without wanting to contradict or bother anyone, I would like to make a general clarification about cats in real life. Sometimes it is necessary, but as a rule, cats should not be bathed, in fact they need it much less than dogs, which should also be bathed occasionally. I mention it as simply informative data, because I know that many people here are animal lovers and it’s always good to be able to share information that helps improve the quality of life of these little ones. To the extent possible, it’s better to avoid bathing them to avoid damaging their biological balance

I think the same way, natural reserves or areas where they can camp freely. Zoos don’t seem right to me to add because, as you say, they’re not ethical at all. I support the idea
Some cats don’t drink from pools of water, like they don’t trust it if it’s not moving, or perhaps they can smell stagnation. Any time you have a cat that shoves its water bowl around to spill it, then licks it off the floor, this is why. You can get fancy powered water bowls that use a pump to circulate the water like a fountain. This will satisfy the water spilling cats out there.
There are also IRL cat leashes because people really do walk them.
So, add to the wish list: 1) pet furniture/objects - scratching posts, beds, toys, food and water bowls (and fancy ones!) 2) pet interactions - pet, play, walk, bathe, etc. 3) pet preferences - running water, pet toys and furniture, and interactions. Doggo likes going for walks, walks make Doggo happy. Cat doesn’t like being picked up and carried, makes cat grumpy. Doggo likes baths, cat hates baths, etc.
Cats do keep themselves clean, as you said. They should only be bathed if they have gotten into something you don’t want them licking off, like motor oil. Edit: Or something like a flea/tick bath, but there are other means of dealing with these.
They can take a page from the IRL cat distribution system. You don’t always have to adopt them, sometimes they adopt you.
My cat is 14 years old, and I’ve only had to bathe him three times in all those years, even though he’s an outdoor cat and can go outside 24/7. And bathing him was only possible with two people—there was no way I could’ve done it alone 
One time I found a tiny kitten in the engine of my car. Heard the strangest sound while I was driving, stopped to look at the engine and I see these two little eyes looking back at me 
It must have crawled up into the engine to keep warm while it was parked. I managed to get it out and took it home… it was covered in grease, so I did give it a bath - warm water and dish soap, very carefully and gently. After the bath I held the kitten very close to keep it warm while I slowly dried it with a towel. It was the cutest little black and white calico. I wish I could have kept it but I didn’t have a litter box and I was afraid if I put it outside it would do it again, and maybe not be so lucky… so I took it somewhere people can adopt pets and wished it the best.
That is such a sweet story and he was certainly very lucky 
This is the cutest idea ever…!! I can imagine this to be a huge favourite for all the animals lovers. Please put this as a wishlist so that we can upvote it
