Hey there, thank you for reporting this :slightly_smiling_face:

Please take a look at this official crash guide: Resolving Crash Issues After the Latest Update → Perform all the steps mentioned whenever you have some time at hand, then please report back and let us know if the crashes are still happening :folded_hands:

thanks, but I can’t get the shader paths to work, my pc can’t find them!

Thanks, but I can’t get it to work with the specified paths, my PC can’t find them! Sorry, double post!

got it working now but I still can’t load the game in BB, my other save files in Dowon and Cahaya worked even before deleting the caches. however, my save file in BB is the biggest and most important one! it can’t be mods, otherwise my other save files wouldn’t load either.

that’s the last crash report…from many, can I actually delete them?

I’m experiencing the same issue. I’ve tried everything described here Resolving Crash Issues After the Latest Update, but the problem persists :smiling_face_with_tear: Just to be safe, when exiting the game, I create a new save using the “Save As” function: both the new save and subsequent autosaves won’t load. The game seems to start loading the selected save, but after a few seconds it crashes and kicks me back to Steam. I’m starting to suspect the save file itself is corrupted.

For me it’s the storage space that’s too big, I think… I simply had too many resident Zois. How big is your individual save? Mine was 32 MB compared to others who have played as many hours as me (800 hours) and have a save file of only 9 MB. I’ve now moved with my most important Zois to a new game save, my storage is now 6.9 MB, I’ll make sure that there aren’t too many resident Zois in the city!

its been a week, i have changed my settings so many times, nothing i do helps, only when all settings are medium wich is crazy and it looks bad in quality, i use the game on my streams and you can see the lagging during my gameplay its really irritating, i had never this problem when i played on high mode.

Hi @hibo can you put your PC specs and issue here to give us more information please?

Of course

Honestly its now been a week i cant even play for 5 min and the screen stays laggy and constantly doesnt work, the more hotfix i have the more the game just breaks in the middle of a five minute game, i cant even play out the stories nothing at this point im just deeply frustrated.

Why don’t you send over your save so we can take a look at what’s going on with your setup! I’m not an expert, but could 16 GB of RAM maybe be too little for playing and streaming?

Inzoi don’t require more , when I bought the game I saw the requirements and bought it based on the requirements. What do you mean it’s not enough?

Since when do we sent save files in the forum ? Is there not special page for this ?

I apologize for being out of touch for so long.
I had roughly the same save file size, but now it’s surprisingly smaller — 23 MB.
Could you share how you transferred your Sims to the new save? Did you create a new family in the new game using a Sim template?
Do you think it’s because of the large number of households? But that wasn’t happening before. In my case, the save file started crashing after the 9.0 update, and I had three families that I played periodically.
Or what did you mean? Please tell me

Usually, in error reports, users send save files to the forum as described in the instructions: About the Bug Reports category & How to Report Bugs It might even be more convenient to upload both the broken and working save files. The developers could give more precise advice that way.
