Automatic break ups and marriage proposals

Not sure if this is in the game, but I wish they had automatic break ups and marriage proposals in Inzoi, That way so it adds realism to the game. and it gives you drama when you play, or when your Zoi’s significant other cheats by themselves for a story line and your zoi catches them and gets heart broken, or angry.

I personally would love this! Since I do not control every step of my zois, this feature will add more diversity to my game. I love random drama things happen without my involvement.

Many of the players and especially i don’t want this. :slightly_smiling_face: You intend to ruin our gaming experience.

For that, they would really need to optimize the relationship to begin with. This thread describes one of the biggest issues.

If, as it is, we have autonomous break ups or marriage proposals, it could ruin the immersion even more. It would probably result in random break-ups, just as random as the cheating is right now.

And regarding marriage proposals, since one can marry within 5 minutes of knowing a Zoi, I would be worried, if the other Zoi then already starts proposing, because the Zoi cannot seperate between “We know each other for 5 minutes, but we are already in love, so lets marry!” and “We should move in together, wait a year or two and then we can think about marriage”.

There is also no way to actively decline a proposal. And to be fair, I wouldn’t want to decline 100 times just because the other Zoi keeps asking everyday.

I wouldn’t want it unless it were possible to disable it.

I already find it annoying that wishes to break up or divorce appear just because the two partners had an argument once!

These wishes should only appear if the relationship has a low score

This would be nice, I don’t like my games to feel 100% scripted, I want it to feel like my Zois can make choices by themselves. I haven’t encountered any of the flirting/cheating issues others have mentioned when it comes to this not being a good idea. (I only started playing the game recently though).

I have had my Zoi do the ‘greet like you recognise them from somewhere’ and ‘greet sweetly’ romance options happen autonomously but my Zois partner hasn’t reacted to these interactions even when in the same buidling.

there could be a setting where you can disable or enable it. but I know some people would love it. definitely not really intending on ruining gaming experience, but I want better gameplay  I just want more realism into the game.

also you saying ‘‘I intend to ruin everyones gaming experience’’ is a very disrespectful thing to say, over a simple suggestion, especially when everyone said they loved the idea and agreed with me as long as they can disable and enable it, which I agree. but you saying that and making a big deal over a simple suggestion, isn’t that serious. everyone is entitled to their own opinion with what they want or don’t want in the game, but you don’t need to be attacking people or throwing a fit and saying I intend to ruin the game. when a lot of people like the suggestion and dislike it, is completely up to them, at the end of the day, I want it to be better and more things in the game.

In the game my Zois are randomly making automatic negative interactions. I already hate this. And if the suggestion you mentioned comes through i quit playing.Exaggerated realism in a game doesn’t benefit it it only harms it.

  1. Meanwhil automatic divorce already exists and i hate that.
  2. These demand you call “request” only serve to disrupt the game’s balance and drive players away.

Do you understand now? Give up your unnecessary obsession with realism this is just a game.

Until and if they fix (in)fidelity (even with the devoted trait mind you… don’t take it, t does not work, yet) then I cannot agree with this suggestion.

Also as @Mazikeen said, there’s a bug (intended or not, we do not know) around since 0.8.0 which makes zois not at full relationship levels in both friendship and love to hate each other’s guts as they say.
They will ruin their relationship. That goes for husband and wife, brothers and sisters, grand-parents and even toddlers. To say nothing of casually insulting the random zois you will talk to automatically on the street.

It’s the perfect storm for bad relationship, the last thing we need is pouring kerosene on that already burning fire.

Devoted should work and should block these things, but then it forces your 2 partners to have it, ruining their other traits they had before to make room for it…
It is honestly super annoying, even if it worked right. No wonder ppl are asking for 3 traits now. Devoted should be something that you talk about with the other partner, like asking for marriage, you could ask for devotion and exclusivity.
If they say no then you know that’s a red flag and you don’t marry them.

Once they fix these issues, then you know what? I will agree with your suggestion.
But not before.

I don’t want the Zois in my household to automatically divorce or have automatically negative interactions with each other. This is very annoying. However for those who enjoy this it might be an option in the settings.

a game that your getting mad at for someone wanting to suggest something…

your disrespectful comments isn’t necessary considering its just a game, and its just a suggestion.. I think there’s better issues in the world than someone getting mad at somebody suggesting a thing, that may or may not even be implanted in the game and the fandom your ruining the game with the unnecessary mean comments.

your one of the reasons why some people don’t want to express or suggest something, because people like you get all mad and butt hurt over a GAME suggestion, meanwhile, none of us have control over if something like this or the other suggestions are even implanted into the game.

This friend also left a disagreeing comment under my post, and I gradually discovered that she seems to be against everyone… Thank you for being such a wise player who makes the community atmosphere better! :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

On a side note, seeing your comment made me feel calm and gave me the sense that you’re a charismatic person!

To be respected a person must earn respect. I have the right to express a negative opinion. @Princxssly2bad

@bananak You’re a new member where do you get the right to comment about me? You just became a member today. You don’t even know me.

Indeed, she says it very often, and I find it disrespectful too. A wishlist is precisely a place where everyone can freely express their suggestions.

You can disagree with an idea, but it often ends up with remarks like: “you want to ruin the game experience”, “it’s GTA”, “you forget it’s a game” or “go play another game”. Eventually, it becomes spam.

Personally, I don’t like when certain people try to impose their vision. There are suggestions I disagree with, but I’m not going to comment saying the person “will ruin the game experience”. Everyone’s opinion is interesting, and not everyone has the same tastes. That’s precisely what makes a suggestions forum interesting.

For example, regarding this suggestion, I’d rather agree if it concerns NPCs among themselves. I think it would be nice to see them get married or divorced on their own initiative, because it would give the impression that they have a life and that the world evolves even without our intervention. On the other hand, I also understand those who wouldn’t want their own Zois to get married or divorced without having taken the initiative themselves. Personally, I prefer to keep control over the characters I play.

I’m really sorry, but when people see someone overly emphasizing their own views and then voice objections, even if the opinion is actually quite good, it seems difficult to make everyone happy. This is my fault, and I apologize! I hope you can understand.

yes i really want zois to autonomously divorce and get married aswell this would add so much more vairty and drama to the game
