Game does not shut down on save and exit

  • Mods: Clothing mods from Curseforge

  • Hardware Specifications & Operating System Windows 11.

  • Often when exiting the game from the home screen, the game closes, but is still running in background. I only notice when restarting the game later and it says it is already running. I have to go into my Steam library to stop the game, wait for it to sync, then I can restart and play again.

I noticed this too - it only syncs and closes once I close all my browser windows. Otherwise it stays open indefinitely.

I have the same issue. After closing the game, I have to wait for Steam to finish the Cloud Sync before I can launch it again, and it takes quite a while. I think this issue will probably be fixed in a future update
