What Does inZOI Really Need? When Freedom Gets Mistaken for "GTA"

 What Does inZOI Really Need? When Freedom Gets Mistaken for “GTA”

One thing I’ve noticed in the community is that some suggestions are quickly labeled as “GTA features,” even when they’re simply optional activities that expand how players can experience the world. Features like hiking, boating, wildlife, camping, climbing hills, or exploring waterfalls don’t automatically change inZOI into a crime-focused game—they simply offer more ways to enjoy life. The identity of a life simulation isn’t defined by a single feature; it’s defined by the freedom to choose your own lifestyle. One player might spend hundreds of hours decorating homes, gardening, raising a family, and taking photos, while another enjoys exploring nature, fishing, driving through scenic landscapes, or discovering hidden locations. Both are creating their own unique stories within the same game. Perhaps the discussion shouldn’t be “Does this make inZOI like GTA?” but rather “Does this give players more meaningful choices while staying true to the game’s vision?” After all, more optional ways to experience the world don’t take away from a cozy playstyle—they simply allow different kinds of players to enjoy inZOI in their own way. :herb::sparkles:

There is a pencil next to the header of your post and there you can change it. Where it says “bug report” in my example, there is a tiny drop down arrow to open the other topics.
