I already left a comment before, but after watching the latest developer video again featuring the surfing mini-game and free diving, another idea came to mind.
I really hope these activities won’t just be mini-games that you play two or three times before moving on. It would be much more engaging if they had meaningful goals, such as time trials, medals, NPC opponents to compete against, or even leaderboards.
For example, if a Zoi chooses to become a surfer, their performances could improve their surfing skill, earn them money, unlock new equipment, or qualify them for more prestigious competitions. That way, these activities would have a real impact on the Zoi’s life and progression.
The same applies to scuba diving. If treasure hunting is added, I hope treasure locations are randomized for each new save. Otherwise, once players know where everything is, exploration quickly loses its sense of discovery.
I’d also love to see spearfishing, with the ability to sell the fish you catch at your own market stand.
Overall, I think it would be great if every activity was designed with replayability in mind. Meaningful challenges, progression, rewards, randomness, and interconnected gameplay systems would encourage players to keep coming back instead of having the exact same experience every time.
Thank you so much k-jun and team for all these amazing fun features I’m so excited, one thing please please when i change my zoi into their outfit for example bathing outfit i don’t like how after a few seconds they change back to another outfit when i choose a outfit for them to wear i would love for that outfit to stay and not keep changing until i want to change their outfits myself please. that’s all Hehe other than that thankyou again.xoxo
I don’t like the idea of competing with NPCs for rewards (especially if it’s really difficult). All these “rush ahead of everyone in 2 minutes” mechanics don’t fit the life sim genre at all, it turns into a race But underwater hunting and different treasure locations — yes, I’m on board with that. The main thing is just that they don’t spawn randomly where they might be inaccessible for harvesting — there’s always that risk. However, if we go the same route as with sand piles, which appear in set locations but you never know if they’ll be empty or if you’ll find something (in the underwater version — chests or distinctive seaweed bushes on the bottom) — then yes, that could work
I am glad to hear that the respected developers have taken up the basics.
I want to talk more about the basics of the game.: This CREATION OF ZOI is the main function that needs to be redone as soon as possible. I’ve already written about it here Remove restrictions on Zoi skinning in CAZ. I can't create the right character. I’m just reminding you if the dear developers missed it. The problem is well described there.
I would like to see a separate video presentation on bug fixes for the game (at least for the main and critical ones).
