More Detailed Skin In-Game

First, thank you so much for today’s video!! I really enjoyed watching it, and I really appreciate you guys continuing to show us what you’re working on!

One thing I really hope gets improved in the future is the skin, especially in-game. Sometimes I honestly can’t even tell if a Zoi is older unless I go into CaZ and look at them . I think it would be really nice if wrinkles, fine lines and other skin details were more visible while actually playing.

And honestly, I think all Zois could use more detailed skin in-game. Right now the skin can look so smooth and almost like fine plastic , especially when you’re looking at them up close. I’d love to see more natural skin texture, pores, little imperfections and subtle details so they don’t look so perfectly smooth all the time.

For Black Zois especially, I also hope the in-game skin can look closer to how they look in CaZ. Sometimes the skin looks more yellow in-game depending on the lighting, and I feel like the tone and texture could be represented better. And this should apply to Black NPC Zois too, not just our own Zois.

I’m not asking for anything exaggerated or super realistic . Just more natural skin detail and better consistency between CaZ and gameplay. I think it would make ALL Zois look so much more alive and realistic.

Thank you so much for all the hard work you’re putting into inZOI!! I know these kinds of changes take time, but I really appreciate everything you guys are doing and I’m excited to see how the game keeps improving!

I’m not entirely sure if it’s visible in my screenshot, but I am using a mod that enhances the skin. Apparently, this is how the skin used to look in earlier versions, but I can’t confirm it, because I took a long break from the game. You can slightly see the pores, the skin is not too matte and there is a very slight stubble shadow(Might be a bit hard to see). I like those details, because it makes the Zois look less “perfect” and feel more “human” with imperfections.

Maybe a simple version of skincare could be implemented. Per example if teenagers hit puberty, they are prone to get pimples and can use skincare to improve their moodlet and feel more confident.

It doesn’t necessarily need to be “hyper realistic” in my opinion, but a variety of those imperfect textures would be welcome

Yeah and yeah, good Idea on puberty but honestly, I would like to see Black Zois skins improved
And I love your Zoi he looks so stunning by the way, and you can see the difference in your profile pic vs ingame

That I also agree. Darker pigmented skin color, from what I saw so far, seems a bit “doll” looking. I assume it’s because of the darker textures, but it does need refining.

This has also been discussed across other posts, but the difference in detail between CAZ and in the actual “live mode” is quite noticable.

No need to thank me for that. I know you might have the impression that I sometimes “shoot against” your posts (like the “two against one” situation you meant), but I have nothing against anyone. I can understand that my wording sometimes comes across as harsh though.
