Business tasks from customers when they order coffee \ other drinks

Please add generative customer tasks.

Let’s remove the coffee coasters in the coffee shop. Instead, have a bar counter for taking and delivering orders.

It looks a bit awkward when your Zoe first makes coffee and then displays it for sale, when in reality, she only makes what customers order. Sure, it’s nice to display food, for example… but not coffee or other drinks.

I think this could be done similarly to timed tasks at work or school. And just for completing the task, you get paid, and maybe even a tip for a quick and/or high-quality cup of coffee.

I agree. Some other forum users and I had that idea in a different topic. Having cake and pastry in a display makes sense, whereas coffee/beverages/warm food in a display doesn’t. Here is my last post about it in the latest brainstorm:

I’d rather take the orders for that than having it sit in a display for hours. Fingers crossed they might work on it at some point alongside the new restaurant changes:four_leaf_clover:

Yes, this would be so much more realistic! I love playing as a bakery and coffee shop owner, but I ended up taking coffee and other drinks off the menu because I didn’t like having to make and display each drink individually. It just looks a weird having a display case with only four individual drinks sitting in it.

I’d also love to see fridges specifically designed to hold drinks. Having the option to prepare drinks ahead of time and stock them in a fridge for customers to grab would be really nice, especially for premade drinks like iced coffee, bottled drinks, or other cold beverages. As well as an option to make coffee/drinks in batches, making one drink a time is so time consuming.
