One thing that is currently holding me back from becoming fully immersed in inZOI is the lack of realism in the Zois’ behavior.

Very often, Zois seem to do exactly what we ask them to do, which can sometimes make them feel more like characters we control than people who have their own lives, personalities and impulses.

I would really love to see much more **autonomous and unpredictable behavior** from Zois. For example, they could sometimes decide to do something on their own, react differently depending on their personality, ignore a request because they are tired or in a bad mood, become distracted, start an unexpected activity, or simply behave in a way that we did not plan.

I actually had a really pleasant surprise when one of my Zois suddenly had a **sleepwalking episode**. 😂 That kind of unexpected event was fantastic because I hadn’t asked them to do it at all. It made my Zoi feel much more like a real person with a life of their own.

I would love to see many more moments like this: spontaneous behaviors, unexpected reactions, little habits, mistakes, mood-driven decisions, conflicts, interactions between Zois that happen without our intervention, etc.

Of course, I don’t want to lose player control. But I think there could be a better balance between **player control and Zoi autonomy**.

Sometimes, the best moments in a life simulation are precisely the things that happen that we didn’t plan. ❤

More of these unexpected, autonomous behaviors would make the world feel much more alive and realistic to me. Thanks you \<3

Heya🍀

I’m all for Zois becoming more autonomous and trait-driven — that is literally one of the things Kjun and the team are already working on, so that’s good!

But I think there is a fine line between “my Zoi feels like their own person” and “why am I even holding the mouse anymore” xD

Unexpected behavior, spontaneous interactions, moods affecting choices, traits actually mattering? Yes please.

My controlled Zoi deciding that my direct command was merely a suggestion because he woke up grumpy?

…sir Zoi, I am still playing the game. Please go take a shower and not hit the punching bag? You have to go to work in 5 Minutes…🫪

I actually think an additional autonomy level could work well here. Something like Off / Standard / Full, so players who want Zois to behave almost completely independently, like in your idea, can have that, while others can keep stronger control over their household🍀

NPCs can absolutely go wild though. I WANT them to surprise me xD.
