I really don’t like this. The household help is throwing away my sculptures that were placed on a dresser as decorations. They’re not trash! They were excellent-quality sculptures that I made myself.
Even your own Zoi would think they are trash and throw them away unfortunately if you let them do what they want for long enough…
I hope this gets fixed…
They had been standing there for quite a while, and his girlfriend didn’t care about them after moving in either. He even admired his sculptures quite often. But this maid instantly mistook them for trash. I had this happen before in another save file. But back then, I wasn’t fast enough to take a picture. This maid is an elder. Plenty of time for screenshots.
It’s a longstanding persistent problem, yeah.
Nowadays some people solve it by arranging figurines and collectibles on shelves and then building a glass wall in front of the cabinet. That way no overzealous neat freak can get to them 
Same happens with your cut jewels and gemstones when they are not set on the preserved mode. I had to find it out painfully losing nearly my entire collection quite some time ago before I noticed that you can save them but you have to do it manually for every stone. I don’t think we have this option for sculptures though
