Steps to Reproduce: This was autonomous, so I don’t know how it can be reproduced. My zoi had just got to work and these two npcs (The Assistant and the Executive Producer at Beat Code) were getting married outside the office before work. Afterwards, the Assistant (got promoted) has a new title of Lead Producer once the work day started. The very next work day, the Executive Producer no longer came to work, his spouse, the now Lead Producer, showed up but no longer has a title and doesn’t do any work. She will still reprimand lower level employees though. For two days there was no executive producer, but the spouse still shows up with no title and doesn’t do any work. We have a new executive now, but the other Lead Producer is still there, not working. I’m pretty sure she doesn’t leave at the end of the work day either. She’s still there when my zoi finishes his overtime.
I really enjoyed seeing npcs get married autonomously. It was even kind of funny that she got promoted after marrying the boss and wasn’t doing any work. Really imitating life
Kudos to her. I’d do the same xD But to stay on-topic, I think I’ve encountered this bug with the inZOI version right after the big business update. I haven’t played much with that family lately, but I assume it’s still the same then
I assumed this was new since npcs can now get married with the newly added settings. My settings are default except for my individual zois. I believe this occurred on the 2nd in game week of this save. At first I thought it was cool, but when the boss disappeared the next day and she still continues to show up even though it seems like she no longer has a job either, I thought maybe this part is a bug??? I’m not sure. That made me wonder, what happens to these npcs when they get married? Do they move in together, while also not living in the world, will they have kids but also while not living in the world? Is there there a cheat to fire her? She’s kind of wasting a job role.
This is a simple task for developers: Just remove any work related (useless or stupid) code when anybody moves in or get married. This has nothing to do with each other.
FI: my friend is an NPC and works with the turtles in Cahaya. After moving in she lost her job. Why?
My Zoi married in Devon the boss of the music making company. After moving in she did not lost her job. That is what I expect.
Is there something special in Cahaya? I mean, this is no NPC only job, players can also work with the turtles.

Same here, Zoe lost her job after getting married
But if you play as two Zoes with a job, it’s hard
Hi. A friend of my Zoi worked at a security agency, and even has a milestone for getting the first job. After moving in with my Zoi, he became unemployed, and that’s not right. This isn’t the first time in my gameplay—whenever a Zoi NPC moves in, no matter where they worked, they become unemployed. Please look into this and fix this issue.
Currently, it’s intended behavior that moving in with / marrying NPCs leaves them unemployed. We’ve had this in a few other bug reports, and as far as I remember, that’s how the devs currently want it to be
My zoi’s have never married an npc, so I have yet to see this occur in my own household. Both of these characters are npcs, and I’m pretty sure they are “not in the world”, I cannot switch to their family. However, I clicked on her today, because she is still showing up at work, and her family name has changed to that of the old boss. I guess that means npcs do move households when they get married. So that’s cool, and that would be the expected behavior. So it seems the bug is her showing up to work, even though she is not supposed to be there.
I think, only jobs that player can choose could be transferred if a NPC moves in. If there is no security player job, what should they do?
cheers,
Roman
It’s actually kind of sad. She literally cried for like an hour in the boardroom while my zoi was working overtime. After work I left, went home, went clubbing, then decided to drop back by the office. She’s asleep on the couch. So she’s actually not leaving.
Hi. I gave a bad example, it was just in a new save, but before that there were cases of a firefighter and an idol being fired, which seems to be playable positions for the player. As for marriage between NPCs - I haven’t seen that yet, the city NPCs who were single just grew old alone and left the game space.
Tell me when they’ll fix the problem, my Zoe became a director..
