Hello, everyone!
Does your Romance Category appear limited like this with Certain Zoi?
Does your Zoi constantly get rejected after every single romantic interaction with Zoi who are attracted to their selected Gender 
?
If yes, do not fear! Your game is not broken, and neither are your Zoi.
It’s because of your Zoi’s Gender Identity settings. This guide will explain everything and how to fix it!
Explanation
When you create a Zoi, their Gender Identity is chosen randomly by the game. It doesn’t matter what Base Gender (male/female) you assign to them, the game may give your Zoi a Gender Identity (male/female/nonbinary) that doesn’t match.
I believe the idea is that:
- Base Gender = “Assigned at Birth” Gender, and genetic body type
- Gender Identity = Preferred Gender
Similarly, the game will also assign a random “Romantic Attraction” orientation to your Zoi.
Basically, you cannot assume all your Zoi will be pansexual or heterosexual, or that they will be cisgender, by default in this game! It’s all randomized!
i. Here’s an example of what happened in my case
In the image below, you can see that even though “Female” is selected for my Zoi’s Base Gender, the game generated her as "Male; Attracted to Female” for her gender identity, which:
- Made romancing any Zoi attracted to her Base Gender impossible because they recognized her gender as a man, not a woman
Her in-game profile still said “female,” and her relationship with her daughter still said “mother,” which is why it took me so long to find the issue! - Locked away most Romance Interactions when she interacted with her male partner from the previous save, because she wasn’t attracted to males anymore
I transferred her via her preset from a previous save where she was originally set as “Female; Attracted to Male,” so I didn’t realize those settings hadn’t carried over!
To Fix
Use the “Edit Appearance” option on any Mirror to alter the Gender Identity of any Playable Zoi (Note: See Bonus Guide at the end for how to edit Non-Playable Zoi)
Romance Limited?
- Change their Romantic Attraction Settings to be compatible with their partner’s Gender Identity
Constantly Rejected?
- Ensure their Gender Identity matches the gender you intended, so people attracted to that gender are also attracted to them!
After I restored my Zoi’s settings to “Female; Attracted to Male,” like she was in my first save…
…all her Romance Interactions with her partner reappeared, and he no longer rejected her with every interaction!
In Conclusion - ALWAYS BE SURE TO DOUBLE-CHECK YOUR GENDER SETTINGS WHEN AND AFTER CREATING YOUR ZOI! 
Bonus Guide: How to Check & Change Gender Identity Settings for Non-Playable Zoi in the City (in case the cause is their settings and not your Zoi’s)

In Live Mode, Enable Cheats in Psycat’s Guide →

Close Psycat’s Guide, then press Ctrl+Shift+C to open up the Cheats Bar

Type in ShowZoiInfo True, and press Enter. This will display unique Zoi IDs for all Zois, above their heads

Find the Zoi you want to Edit, and locate their unique Zoi ID above their head.
← It’ll look something like this! -
In the Cheats Bar, Type in CustomZoi [Zoi ID], replacing the “[Zoi ID]” with the unique code
Example Using Zoi ID in Step 4:
Press Enter and Create-A-Zoi (CAZ) Mode should automatically load up with the desired Zoi.

Click the
Button in the Gender section to open the Gender Identity Menu -
Change their Gender Identity Settings as Needed, then click “Complete” > “Complete” to confirm the settings and return to Live Mode

In the Cheats Bar, Type in ShowZoiInfo False and press Enter to make Zoi IDs invisible again

SAVE YOUR GAME to ensure the settings will stick! Done!
I hope this will help you all avoid the silly heartache I had, thinking my Zoi was doomed to never find love with her partner again
