Can't complete "Have 1 Mutual Crush relationships(s)" goal for Pursuit of Love / Partners in Love Ambition

  • Issue Date: 8/27/2025

  • Error Message: N/A

  • Details: I am attempting to progress the Ambition Pursuit of Love / Partners In Love, and I cannot complete the goal “Have 1 Mutual Crush relationship(s).” I have completed the other goal in level 1, “Hold hands and talk 3 time(s) with a Mutual Crush or higher,” but the other goal is stuck at 0/1 even when the Zoi with the Ambition has a Mutual Crush with another Zoi.

I’ve tried loading up older saves and experimented to see if there’s a work-around, none so far.

Really disappointing T_T

INZOI team please add this bug to your formal list so it can be fixed! I don’t want to continue playing until it’s fixed…

  2. If you’re playing on a save file, when was that save file originally created?

I’m not the OP but I’m also having this issue, so I’ll provide some info.

  1. Never used mods
  2. Just a couple of days ago. Maybe 09/02/25?

Just started my save yesterday and I have a few mods from Curseforge, guessing there is no fix or workaround for this yet. Is there a cheat just to pass it? Would like to be able to finish.

I also have this problem. It is also not tracking the have 5 true loves correctly either.

Unfortunately, I don’t think there’s a cheat for completing goal yet.

I have seen this issue since the first release. The problem is the game doesn’t register the fact that your Zoi already has a mutual crush or higher before you chose this ambition. If you start a couple at the beginning of the game, you can’t complete this ambition. If you play as teens and find your true love and then age up, you can’t complete this ambition unless you ruin the relationship and start over because teens aren’t able to have an ambition.

Honestly, a lot of the ambitions are broken this way. If you already have something that the ambition requires, you have to delete it (in the case of an item), or break up (in the case of a relationship), in order to complete the progress.

I’ve also been having this problem since last year when I bought this game, across multiple save files. I really hope this gets fixed soon. :worried: I’m not sure if this thread is still being checked by mods… but in case it is, I will upload my latest save file, in case that helps.

This kept happening to me. I found a work around. For some reason it’s attached to the phone contacts. The “Mutual Crush” has to be a love interest. Meaning in the contacts on your phone you have to have a Heart emoji next to their name. If its a friend emoji it will continue to bug out. So, for me I was able to make it happen by meeting someone via online dating (this action is on the computer) and only have romantic conversations with them. You can either go slow by only replying romantically via text message only. IT’S SUPER SLOW. Or make it go faster by not allowing friendly conversation happen when meeting up. This can be challenging because the chit chat between the dialog you choose is automatic, but try to close the pop up so it doesn’t continue and limits it. The goal is to have more romantic conv, than any other type. Continue doing this even after “Mutual Crush” pops up on the screen. If you get to the next stage in the relationship without achieving mutual crush, just start over. I hope this works for you.
