Some objects can't be interacted on certain lots.

    • Details:
      • Fish Stand can only be interacted in Resale Store, but it doesn’t work everywhere else. I’ve seen it placed in many places around Cahaya, but can’t be interacted/clicked.
      • All Snacks Shelves can only be interacted in Retail Shop, but it doesn’t work everywhere else. I’ve seen it placed in other lot types, but can’t be interacted/clicked.
      • Snorkeling Stand & Fishing Rod Stand can only be interacted in a few places like Fishing Supply Store and some public area, but it doesn’t work everywhere else.

  • It’s a bit confusing with how the object system works, I couldn’t figure which objects are usable for which lot types.

  • I’d like to suggest to add info in build mode. Label which objects are usable for which “lot/venue type”.

    • Functional object (for all lot types)
    • Functional object (for certain lot types)
    • Decoration object only

We have a similar problem with some objects brought from home to a public lot: the laptop cannot be used for many interactions, and the food prepared at home cannot be eaten…

I’ve had similar issues with items on public lots:

  • Refrigerators don’t allow you to cook food - you can take out the food and funds get deleted, but then it just disappears.
  • The default standing microphones and guitar stands on public lots are non-interactable (however if you place your own, you can use them). NPCs do seem to be able to interact with them.

I’ve only played in Cahaya so far so I don’t know if other cities have the same problem. However, I don’t think it’s just my save, as I’ve heard other people mention this as well.
