So basically 2 things in regards to the job system.
Allowing to adjust start/end time of a job…
We can already drag backwards and forwards both the starting time and ending time on an even we create, so I’d like for this to be available for all job. The pay is set on a work day, even if you quit early… What doing shorter days do is slow down your progression to other levels in said jobs (harder to get that promotion, which makes sense).
This would be perfect for some zois who would work but only from say 10am to 2pm (like a stay at home mom, working in the local café to help with the bills but always home in time for kids/supper. Or if you’re an artist and need more free time to work on your trade.
Allowing more than one Job…
Basically, you could take on 2 jobs, let’s imagine this is in Bliss Bay, and the dad Zoi needs serious money because his wife is gone and he has a small daughter to pay the bills for. He needs to work 2 jobs. He looks at all the positions, and figure he would work at both :
“Themis & Jones Law Firm” (Tue-Wed-Thu, 09am-3pm)
“Blue Moon Soft” (Mon-Wed-Fri, 09am-6pm)
Now the only conflicting day is Wednesday. So he goes at 9am at the law firm, but leaves at 1pm, and then goes straight to the software programming job from 2pm-6pm (after an hour to get from one to the other and maybe grab a bite on the way.
With the first suggestion to adjust both start/end time for a work day, his final schedule would be from Monday to Friday, with half-a-day for both on Wednesdays. He still has the week-end off for more family time with his young daughter.
With more jobs and more schedules in the future, maybe there would not even be conflicting days.
But for now, this would be very good. Please look into letting us have 2 jobs and adjust times for them.
