Stop moving NPC families in empty houses o.o

This never happened in Dowon but now at Cahaya, that the game moves random families in empty houses, and I want it to stop.
I want to decide who lives there.
And constantly creating (and deleting (even Zois our Zois are befriended/ in love with) and moving in NPC’s is something that bloats our games/saves and messes with the performance.
So, after moving to Cahaya I dismissed all the NPC households.
And now the game moves random NPC’s in on its own -.-
This might also be the cause of game crashes, so give us the option to prevent/stop this.

Totally agree. It feels like a story progression feature, and I always turned that off when I played The Sims. Some people might enjoy it, but others really don’t, so if developers want to include something like this, it absolutely needs to be optional. I want to build the town I envision, but the game keeps randomly creating families, evicting them, and moving them around. I really don’t like that

I agree! I had emptied all the houses in Bliss Bay and found them occupied again. Moreover, there is a family of NPGs who have five newborns and babies.

I don’t like this either. I complained about it a long time ago and in the response they told me others have as well, but haven’t changed it. This is what makes me feel like they don’t actually care about our feedback.

Surely this could be an option? I would rather move my own families in too - or deliberately keep a house empty (if I am planning to move there, for example, once I can afford it).

And yes, for those wanting to improve game performance, having houses remain empty might be helpful too.

This… I love they auto-populate abandoned house. But I get it that some might not want that.
Perfect example where a menu option could be programmed.
