Traffic movement is now all Janky.
What I mean is it stutters and jerks moves then jerks again constantly. It literally gives me a headache!

I have this issue too. Since the Halloween update the game is super laggy. I never had performance issues before. I hope this will get fixed soon. Gameplay is unbearable at the moment. 
UPDATE: They seem to have fixed that with the recent Hotfix. For now my gameplay has been stable. 
Using a mod I was able to get rid of some of the lag but the traffic still stutters. I’m using version 0.4.2 and none of this was a problem using 0.3.6 maybe occasional stutter when objects load into memory but this is a performance issue with the engine now. Hope they fix this next update!

I found if you reduce the amount of traffic with a city management slider Its not as bad.
I basically set it as low as it would go

for me, the traffic lag was fixed by turning off smart zoi
