I don’t know if anyone has posted about this before, but it would be nice to have the option to study psychology and work as a psychologist, offering psychological help to other Zois when they’re stressed or facing failures in life. Additionally, Zois could read self-help books or search online if they can’t afford or don’t have time to visit a psychologist. If a Zois family’s status is below normal, they could visit our Zoi psychologist together to resolve issues related to family relationships. My Zoi psychologist could also offer psychological support to their own family and friends. If a Zoi can’t meet their friends, they could still support them through smartphone messages when they share their problems.

Interesting idea. You mentioned online searches and self-help books: I’ve noticed that some items have special interactions for a specific emotion, so maybe you could have things like ‘Read self-help book to learn coping techniques’ for Zois with the Sad, Melancholy or Devastated emotional states.

Yes, exactly that. I think self-help books could help Zois temporarily recover from difficult moments in life. However, if they’ve been feeling sad, shocked, or angry for a long time, or if they have low or terrible karma, they would definitely need professional help.

I really like how the psychologist is implemented in Persona 5.
- You can develop Kindness, share information with him, and accept his sessions and snacks, which raises your Confidant Rank and unlocks richer support: unpacking motivations, defense mechanisms, and SP recovery.
- Or you can stay distant, which leads to generic phrases and low effectiveness.
*Confidant Rank is the local arcana of bond between characters.

I never thought about this but I would actually love this career option! Imagine studying and getting your license to practice, then opening your own office or working from home or the office, getting clients come in to see you or meet with you online at their scheduled time.
Maybe even having to do home visits for zoi’s on the brink or going through psychosis, having to call them an ambulance or talk them down and console their families.
This would be a really unique and amazing addition to the game!
Added realisim:
Your computer breaks and you can’t afford to fix it. You have to call your clients to cancel their appointments that day.
This could also lay the foundation for other professionals like doctors, chiropractors or speech therapists. Would be super dope.
