Per the realistic tone of the rest of their games, would love Zois to have a slightly toned down reaction to being hungry or sleepy, at least for the initial stages when the needs hit red. When zois are hungry, they currently interrupt every interaction they have with exaggerated groaning which can be a bit immersive breaking and/or reptitive and grating on higher speeds. Would it be possible to use audio or animation cues that are slightly more subtle in the beginning to show a more realistic progression?
Instead of loud groaning, perhaps a Zoi can look down and rub their stomach in distress while we hear sounds of their tummy growling. This could also lead to further integrated gameplay i.e Zoi getting an embarrassed moodlet when their stomach growls during school/work or even an opportunity for another Zoi to notice and either tease or offer a snack depending on their traits and relationship. For sleep, I envison zois yawning for the first few hours vs rapidly alternating between total exhaustion zombie fatigue / a normal walking pace. While the current animations are well made and clear in their intent, perhaps these effects can ramp up to show when the zois actually close to death considering it takes quite a while to die from hunger. Just some thoughts!
