Can't Continue Writing/Producing/Editing Piece From Bag

  • Steps to Reproduce: Start writing a book, for example, don’t finish it, go to your bag, click the book you started writing, don’t finish it.

  • Details: I can’t continue writing a book from my Zoi’s bag despite clicking “Continue”. This is also true for video production.

I’ve struggled with this issue myself too. It needs to get fixed.
A possible workaround: Go back to the computer, click to write another book → your previous book should be saved (title, description & progress) and you can click on “proceed”.

Not sure if they changed it in one of the updates. But for some time already it is only possible to continue when clicking on computer and the „write“ action. Then you always get the option to start a new piece or continue with the current one. Same goes for selling by the way. This is also now only available through clicking on the computer „write“ action and then you can sell the finished piece. It used to be possible also through inventory but not anymore.

It used to be possible to sell & continue writing the book by clicking on the item in your inventory, yes. Seems to be bugged now completely.

Thank you! I had no idea there was another option, I’ve just been throwing unfinished work away :grimacing: I’m not sure if I should mark this as a solution because I want the developers to fix the bag issue, but this works!

Yeah, I’d recommend you don’t mark the bug as Solution since the bug reported (“Continue” button not working from bad) isn’t actually solved yet.

Just leave the report here. That’s fine and makes things easier for the devs to work on :grinning_face:
