But whenever my Zoi who owns a business gets married, the other male zoi does not get the wedding invite. If I go to the wedding or click “Get married” one of the Zoi’s will end up married to themselves on the family tree and he can’t be romantic with his partner anymore even though their relationship status changes to “family”** …. I never saw this post before and am sorry to hear it’s impacting other players. I haven’t tried getting my business owner married, but now I will so I can check if it happens in my game too. ---

Found the problem. For me anyway, it was my own modded clothes that caused the issue lol! I would say if you’re playing with any mods or CC, disable them for the time being. ---

The older saves had different names and were located further down the list. This strongly indicates savegame corruption or incorrect save reference handling. ---

I’m very sorry for your data loss, it’s every player’s nightmare. I removed my saves from Steam Cloud to have them on my PC and be able to make backups. Have you also reported this issue to Steam? It seems really absurd that the marriage bug also deleted your previous saves. ---

So, into the issue… I married a non-player controlled Zoi that I had created and added to the city and…he married himself. We are both registering as single. We live under the same roof. We have the family relationship status. I have max’ed this relationship status out but none of the romance options have returned between us. If I try to use the max relationship cheat to add love, it gives an ‘failed to happen’ message so the game doesn’t register between my player char and this Zoi can even have an intimate relationship between us, not even an affair. I will use the email I will receive from this forum post in order to send in my game save to have the team look over. A few extra things of note… 1. I was a business owner before marrying this Zoi. I did not opt for the business to carry over when we got married as I didn’t realize that was an option I needed to click. 2. I did not max out the family relationship using a cheat. I did it genuinely through time and interaction. ---

Hey there, welcome to the inZOI forum! Thank you for reporting this. Unfortunately, this issue has occured in various players’ games so far. The official team can merge your thread with the existing one here: [Zoi marrying himself](https://forum.playinzoi.com/t/topic/8278) EDIT: It’d be very helpful for the devs if you provide the affected save file here. The issue hasn’t been looked into or at least we haven’t been notified about it. Detecting the root of the bug might be easier with your save file to look into 😀 ---

Now that we have this bug in all variations of save files (new, old, with CC, vanilla), I think it’s safe to assume it isn’t specifically related to CC or mods. ---

I am trying really hard to get my save file over to the devs but even compressed it is still 103MBs. I tried submitting it via support center and it is still refusing to upload. And the email noted in Option 2 never arrived for my OG thread. I see they will accept a drive file but…I couldn’t see where they have a drive drop or acceptable drive links they will accept or how they want to receive the drive link. ---

The Upload Save File post makes it seem like they want the entire folder. If they only need that particular piece of the save folder. I can do that. Devs (and anyone else curious), see attached. I’ve found another thread titled “[Zoi marrying himself](https://forum.playinzoi.com/t/topic/8278/11)” or “[Marriage Glitch](https://forum.playinzoi.com/t/topic/9952/4)” describing the exact same behavior I experienced. This seems to be the same bug chain. Additionally, in my case, older save games BEFORE marriage were deleted or overwritten. Also multiple additional errors occured. Krafton really needs to address this issue. I think this sounds like the same issue I experienced and reported in my thread **“[Big Bug Report.](https://forum.playinzoi.com/t/topic/9936/3)”** In my case, the most severe problem is that **all my saves from BEFORE the marriage were apparently deleted or overwritten automatically**. I really hope this issue will be resolved. Since then, my Zois are also **behaving very strangely**. I have described all related problems in detail in my thread, as this bug chain already starts with **events not appearing in the partner’s calendar** , and then escalates into multiple additional errors. This is my exact experience, too. Minus the prior saves deleting. I went back to the prior saves to play without them being married because I was frustrated with this. ---
