Moving into lots is basically a gamble, you don’t know what you’re moving into until you’re there.
I would like to have the option to preview the lot before moving in and look at all the options available before making a decision.

Yeap. And we should be able to edit a residential lot before it’s occupied. I’d like to be able to place the house first, edit it, and only then move my family in. Especially when we move into an empty lot. I don’t like building from scratch, but often downloaded houses don’t fully meet expectations or are too expensive.
When you move into an empty lot, you lose the opportunity to take out a mortgage loan and are forced to put up a ready-made house with some things you don’t need

I 100% support this. We should be able to place houses or build in lots before moving in. I rarely ever move my zois to a new house, even if they need more room, cause I have to move them to an empty lot first and then install a house without even know it if said house will work. Being able to preview houses before moving into them sounds great too!

NEW GAME> SELECT WORLD> HERE YOU HAVE OPTIONS
CHOOSE NPC HOUSEHOLD TO PLAY
CREATE HOUSEHOLD
CHOOSE HOUSEHOLD FROM LIBRARY (includes us being able to save households)
BUILD THIS LOT
FREE EDIT (edit any parts of the world)
This will give us all options of playing how we want, from the players that just want to play all the way to the creators that want to create the whole world then create households to the world (like how I want to do)
