The thing with the clothing is, it’s part of the shell/hull (or how does one call it? Surface?). Otherwise we’d see the arm or leg or the inner side of the clothes(?).
These clothes are also no mods, but original content of a game created by a triple A company, so this really should get fixed imo. Some of these issues with the clothes have been reported for many months already. This post exists since August and afaik none of the many issues had been fixed yet 
For me it’s really immersion breaking seeing my Zois hollow o.o
