Steps to Reproduce:
Get the urge while having a fully maxxed family relationship with all your children.
Basically, if you get this urge but your relationship with your kids is all maxxed out, then you’re out-of-luck.
You get stuck with this urge until it expires.
The restricction about family relationship being between 60 and 90 should be changed to between 60 and 100 so it’s always possible to do…
Technically you could, and no doubt it would work mind you… but this is a bad take on the problem.
We’d rather have it fixed instead of 60-90, be 60-100 so it could be completed without going out of our way to negatively impact good relationships.
It’s a good idea but I agree with @Samuriko on this one. It shouldn’t have to be played this way because it makes no sense IRL. If the relationship exceeds a certain level, all interactions listed below that level should be accessible.
If the wish comes up in the near future, I’ll try to see if your workaround is the actual way to go for now
Not disagreeing with you but the reason I find it somewhat acceptable is that it forces some realism into the relationship - I’ve no doubt that most of us have experienced some rockiness with our relationship with our parents.
I get it - it’s a computer game with numbers and all of that. My suggestion just comes from the appreciation that most of us probably have maxed out our relationship levels due to the maxing nature of gameplay and this is a situation that kind of injects a bit of realism into the matter. Like it forces your Zoi and their parents to undergo a bit of conflict before they can wish them well. I do agree though that there are better ways to do and implement this but like I said, just a bit of an amusing bit that alludes to what happens in real life.
I have also never been able to complete this and it is frustrating with a family of 6 children , it keeps popping up as well but then is there for 24 hrs until it disappears
