Since the last big update, there have been some changes to our home pages. Now, when we get into the game, instead of our own profile the display shows canvas creation (as well as canvas creations when you click on create a zoi or continue), which might be like by some creators, but some other (like me) might not like this, as sometimes the creations shown in this page can be a bit “too much“, with all due respect to those creators and the people that don’t mind that type of bold content, it is not better or worse, it is just not for me personally.
This could be solved by adding the option to choose between the old Home Menu or the New Menu in our games, so for the ones that prefer a more clean and simple home screen, we would have this option.
I’d rather have the old design back too.
These ‘ads’ are too much, offensive and agressive imo
It’s not just the loading screen, it’s also in my lobby and they are overlapping functions in build mode, and even if we turn it off (at least we can in build mode), it returns the next day -.-
I don’t want creepy Zois staring at me, often the names of the mod creators are questionable and many of the pics are not-suitable-for-work (had to write it out since the abbrevation seems to be a forbidden word?)
I don’t want to use mods at all because they mess up our game.
Currently mods are the main cause of all ingame issues. Why advertising them so agressively?
I cannot agree more to everything you said! The ammount of information going on in the new main menu is simply overwhelming for the senses and often feature content that is not safe for work. It’s okay if its anybody else’s jam, it’s just not what I want to see when I enter the game, and it would be great if we had the option to go back to the simpler, cleaner main menu.
This one is the worstest for me, personally - always in the way and not in a place where it is useful.
I am fine with showcasing Creators - that is supportive & fabulous - but only where showcasing makes sense organically and/or does not allocate resources when I’d rather use them for gameplay.
I want to add my two cents. Please Krafton and Inzoi Studio, do give us this toggle or revert to the previous version. There’s a lot of sexualised images of women and honestly this game is PG-13, a lot of kids will be playing it. I am putting here some examples but these aren’t even the wildest ones. I saw a women in twerking posture in a thong, with exaggerated proportions the other day

And what disappoints me most is the ‘measuring with two cups’.
Despite it’s PG13/teen rating, the game itself is so tame, prudish and limited when it comes to ‘romantic interactions’, it would easily meet the all-ages rating,
and then this -.-
I’ve seen on reddit a while ago there are normal t-shirts getting censored and taken off of canvas and no one knows what the actual rules are which content is allowed and which not.
For example a shirt with a manga image where a woman holds another woman in her arms (both fully dressed) and one happens to have her hand on the other womans chest (absoloutely not in a sexual way at all, no one in the comments saw anything wrong in that image),
and these clothes go through in masses.
And it even feels like some mod creators are clearly favoured.
I find this really annoying, too. I always have to shut the window as, quite apart from not being interested (if I want to look at Canvas, I will go on Canvas, if I am building or in CaZ leave me alone!), the Canvas ad box is in the way!
Oh! I think I hate PorkCubes already!!! Moreover, all his characters seem to be the same to me.
And yes! I vote for the old home screen! And let the creators advertise themselves in the Canvas!
I’ve never agreed more with every point in a thread! I’m so happy to read all of this and that I’m not the only one who feels this way! I miss the old layout so much!
Definitely seems like certain creators are favored, even before the layout change. I see the same creators all of the time and little variety. I thought the algorithm was just broken - the more you highlight, the more you get highlighted. I really wish that would change and creators would rotate around randomly a bit more.
Tinfoil hat guys, but it looks like we’ll be getting the old screen back in October update? The image Kjun uploaded doesn’t have all the canvas clutter of the newer version!
I want to get rid of all the Canvas pop ups. I upload things to Canvas and download mod-free content that I like. I won’t use mods because they always cause problems (I’ve heard of several issues even with the hair and outfit mods).
I don’t think they should ever promote modded content. Plus, they need to mark items that contain mods (as they do with custom textures), and they need to give us the option to browse Canvas without seeing the modded content.
People should need to browse for mods intentionally while everyone else can view mod-free content created with assets in the game. The mod outfits are often extremely risqué, to put it politely. I don’t think it’s appropriate to push this content or even display it on any screens or pop-ups.
Again, I don’t want to see any Canvas content on loading screens and pop-ups! It’s annoying. Does anyone actually appreciate these pop-ups and loading screen promotions for Canvas?
You’re definitely not alone! I hate it so much, and appart from it being overwhelming, and the sexy stuff spam, I truly think it makes the main screen laggy. It lags a lot now and it definitely didn’t before october update.
