Ability for Zois to become overweight or too skinny

As it stands, I like that zois can change their weight and fitness during life, but they seem to not be able to ever reach too-thin or too-fat levels. For me, that is a very fun aspect of gameplay, and seeing how their behaviors and choices change their shape, and trying to help them manage their weight. It is very fun. Sometimes I like to make someone fat and see if I can have them lose weight, or someone too thin and have them gain weight, or sometimes am just trying to make someone look like someone I know in-real-life who happens to be too skinny or too fat.
But as it is, zois can only be varying levels of normal, either somewhat thicker or somewhat thinner but neither is truly thin and definitely not fat. I would like it if Zois could risk getting too skinny if they don’t eat enough or work out too much without enough food, or if they could risk becoming obese if they don’t exercize or eat too much or too many sweets. Being able to also have them start out one way or the other, but maybe able to still gain or lose more in the game (meaning somewhat restricted in caz, with more potential for greater levels of obesity or starvation in-game. I know this feature brings in real-life problems, but the game already addresses things like social consequences, karma from certain actions, and risks to health from being in the rain too long for example. It would be more immersive, add another level of challenge, make it possible to make zois look like a wider or more diverse amount of real people, and add more fun to the game for some players.

As for the “weight gain” - it’s already in the game. And even too much. My Zoey ate pancakes, egg toast, and cornbread. And in just a week, she became very plump. She had to lose weight with the help of a “weight loss doughnut”, as there is absolutely no time left for sports.

I don’t know what you mean, yes I have seen they gain and lose weight and mentioned that in my post, but never beyond “normal” or healthy, I havent seen a single plump zoi in the game let alone “very plump”, but I do agree they gain and lose weight pretty easily. I wouldn’t mind seeing how easily toned down and made to not be quite that easy or fast, but what I’m talking about is not just shifting around within a healthy range, but able to actually include the dynamics and life-challenges of getting too skinny or too fat, and its not possible to be too skinny or too fat right now

Yeah, honestly, I agree. The game could use more of this, not only pertaining to this but when it comes to things like crime in inzoi, altercations, etc. But I think like another post said different diets would be cool, each with their own price range and effects, some good some bad!!

Yes different diets would be cool I agree, and would make sense to go along with this, and I agree also on the other things you mentioned too

its harder to lose weight than to gain just like in real life LOL. I tried for a whole week starving my zoi and doing yoga as exercise and Im not sure she actually lost any of the weight she gained. Eventually I had to use the donut to help her lose weight

My newest save I made a Zoi who has the “Tranquil” life aspiration, and she does yoga a lot. A bit bizarrely IMO, she got so buff she looks like she has been weight-lifting while on steroids, and I am now trying to get back to normal as she looks a bit odd (her head is now too small for her body!)

On topic, I agree with OP, there should be more variation, in CaZ, npcs, and in weight/muscle loss and gain in-game. Just perhaps less muscle gain from yoga please, I’ve had to stop her doing it and it is one of her frequent wishes!

Oh my, I haven’t experienced that yet but I only recently started playing a zoi who I imagine would be doing yoga a lot, and who wants to do it, i have noticed her get a bit bigger all-around but she was pregnant at the same time so I’m not sure, and was wondering whether the yoga causes muscle-gain. I agree that yoga should, maybe, cause only very slow muscle or maybe have a cap as to how much muscle can be added by doing yoga and if it reaches that cap or your zoi is already above it, it just prevents the loss of that muscle. Or maybe make it just not gain muscle…idk, but I know a lot of yoga-intense people and only one of them is buff but she plays sports also. The others are not at all and do it all the time. Not to mention all the yoga masters you can take classes from or offering free lessons online…none of them are buff lol, but certainly all pretty lean or you can tell they have muscle, but far from buff. Thank you for bringing this subject up, it doesn’t make sense that they get buff from yoga lol

I agree that they gain weight too fast. I think also that it’s fine if they lose weight very difficultly, and slowly; however I think that sounds incredibly slow, but I know many people it is like that irl and once overweight they cannot lose it no matter what they do. I think it would be cool and great for story-telling to have some kind of way to say that a specific zoi has fat-resistant genes, so they struggle to gain weight and lose any weight they gain super easily, making it the reverse of most (there are people really like this, i know cuz my family is this way, its genetic), and something to make a zoi gain weight easily and struggle incredibly to lose weight. Then the standard for most zois (who dont have either trait) could be slightly harder to gain weight than currently in-game and slightly easier to lose weight, but not by a ton or anything. Very curious how other players feel about this idea too

It would be great to have a phone app that tracks your fat and muscle and gives you tips on what to eat and how to work out to lose fat or gain muscle.

Some of my Zoi have gained a lot of weight, and I’ve had to use a donut, too; I can’t get them to lose weight.
I also don’t like how muscular the female Zoi are getting; their legs look really ugly. I wish I could exercise them without having this effect.

You could turn off the dynamic muscles in the settings:

Thanks, I did, but I wish it was possible to enable or disable it for each Zoi played.
I like a little muscle on guys, but not on girls.

This would be great
