Broken Family ties - everyone is just Relatives - married couple turned to cousins

  • Details (Providing reproduction steps helps us): After the update my married couple zois turned into single Relatives and can’t romance anymore. It’s like they’re cousins now. In my case it happened even before they travelled but from what I know travel can trigger this too. It can affect other relationships like mother-daughter etc. Can we have a fully functional Edit Family Tree option / cheat to fix that? I can’t unrelate them in order to marry them again and there’s no divorce since technically they’re not married. I can’t change this with a cheat because it’s not about the level of relationship but its type. I fixed their gender and attraction settings as they were also broken so they can flirt with others but they don’t have this option at all between them.

I have the same problem :frowning: My ZOI was pregnant with her fiance and after birth I got a wedding notification. And ever later they all became relatives or something like that. So I don’t have romantic options between my ZOIs :frowning:

Mam ten sam problem. Po zawarciu małżeństwa moi zoi nie maja możliwości romansu. znikneła opcja romans. nie da sie nic zrobic

I’m having this same issue. As soon as they get married, they are now relatives and have no romantic options. Also, now my ZOIs kids are showing as relatives too. They don’t even allow you to edit the family tree in Create a Zoi.

Unfortunately, this happens a lot, but there is hope it gets solved with the December update when they also update the family tree.
They will also soon drop a new roadmap, maybe there is also a fix in the October update :psycat_paw:

same issue, i just updated the game and played for the first time in a while and my married couple are relatives, as well as their son. No romance is possible.

    I have attached oldest save file and latest save file. To see if they can romance before, but cant after wedding.
