From what I’ve seen so far of Cahaya from early access live streaming from some Inzoi Partners, the following below are some activities that could be added for more gameplay enrichment and content.
Jet Ski Racing
Besides the stunning visuals that Inzoi offers versus other simulations games in the market, what also sets Inzoi apart from other simulations is that we can manually drive cars, scooters, and boats which is awesome and a wonderful feature. I think it would be a shame if Inzoi didn’t lean on this more for water activities. Since the driving mechanics are already implemented, adding a race gameplay element as a water activity for Cahaya would be so cool and immersive. For example, having a set route where maneuvering around obstacles such as huge rocks or around the deserted island or etc. with a countdown timer. Maybe include in the route where sharks can unexpectedly jump out of the water and if a shark hits you - you’re thrown off the jet ski and thus automatically disqualified from the race. Failure to complete the course before the timer is up also makes you disqualified.
-
Criteria to participate: certain swimming level required, certain fitness level, maybe have to complete a prior Cahaya quest to unlock this activity, entry fee
-
Grand Prize: a rare collectible, mew money or coins to be redeemed at the resort, a rare skill, a key for a hidden underwater treasure box in a underwater cave, or etc.
Scuba Diving: Scavenger Hunt Game
I heard from someone that scuba diving will be added sometime in the future and if that is true, you can make it where there is a scavenger hunt game where you have a limited time to find items from a list/ or from a discovered treasure bottle found on one of the islands. Things to look for underwater can be such as seaweed, certain color/types of starfishes, clams, certain types of cast away trash items, maybe catching a specific amount of jellyfishes and etc. Failure to find all items from the list before time is up makes you disqualified from getting the grand prize. Maybe make different variations of items to be found to keep the game feeling fresh and not feel repetitive from finding the same items listed on the list.
- Criteria to participate: certain swimming level required, maybe have to complete a prior Cahaya quest to unlock this activity, discover a treasure bottle for a scavenger hunt .
- Grade prize: a rare collectible, mew money or coins to be redeemed at the resort, a rare skill, a key for a hidden underwater treasure box in a cave or etc.
Scuba Diving (General Exploration)
Like Krafton’s other game, Subnautica, it would be cool if scuba diving was implemented with the need to resurface when oxygen level is low of course. Maybe have where certain rare fishes, treasure or collectibles only appear during the day and night. Exploration through ship wrecks or through underwater caves would be AMAZING. Imagine doing scuba diving at night with a headlight gear!!! This can introduce so much more gameplay and content. I know it was said that Inzoi is more heavy focused on realism than the supernatural, but it would be so cool to see some supernatural creatures during night diving with unique fluorescent lightning or supernatural plants and etc. Scuba diving through the night can introduce new night dangers as well from sharks who are prone to attack more at night or from unknown creatures or supernatural entities (ghosts)…
Limbo
Who doesn’t like to limbo ? I think it would be cool if this was implemented at the resort as a fun activity to do. Not only that, but to do it manually which will make for more engaging gameplay. This is just a suggestion of how to do this manually, but using a simple gauge bar with a hit maker can be implemented. Each time the limbo bar is lowered, the harder it would be to hit the gauge bar with the moving hit marker since the hit marker will be going faster after each round as the gauge bar gets smaller for added difficulty. If you try to hit the gauge bar, but missed during a round, that can result in the limbo bar being knocked over thus being eliminated from the game.
- Criteria to participate: none, maybe a certain fitness level required, entry fee
- Grand prize: a rare collectible, mew money or coins to be redeemed at the resort, a rare skill, a key for a hidden underwater treasure box in a cave or etc.
Dance Memory Game
I saw that Krafton stated that over 90 new music tracks are going to be added for this update, which is so INSANE (I LOVE IT! THANK YOU!) I think some music could be used for a memorization dancing game with a main NPC or different NPCs scattered around the islands who loves to dance which could add lore into the gameplay. For example, there could be a NPC that loves to dance and the objective is to follow their dance choreography. They will do a dance sequence using left, right, up, and down control keys (for PC users) and then we will not only have to memorize the dance sequence, but try to replicate the dance sequence using the same control keys. If we miss up at any point then it’s game over. This concept could be use in the kpop career as well for added gameplay and engagement.
- Criteria to participate: maybe have to complete a certain Cahaya quest before you can participate, entry fee
- Grand prize: a rare collectible, mew money or coins to be redeemed at the resort, a rare skill, a key for a hidden underwater treasure box in a cave or etc.
