Teens are currently unable to plan a trip to Cahaya on their own (must be young adult or older) … nothing like having your mom and dad tag along on your high school/college spring break, lol. There are also teen restrictions on transportation - no scooters, motorbikes, mopeds, or cars can be purchased. Hopefully, this can be changed in the future.
Cahaya brings a lot of fun activities to the game. One big thing that is still missing for me is clubs and night life. I was really excited when I saw a club with a dj booth added in Bliss Bay. Finally, visions of a packed dance floor and a dj hobby/career. My excitement was short-lived, however. Both the dj controller and dance floor were totally inoperable - no options to play sets or practice on the dj controller, no dance floor options to dance together, try slick dance moves, etc. Evidently, the Bliss Bay crowd didn’t get the memo on the new opening - only one other zoi showed up over a 3 hr period. When I got to Cahaya, I looked for a club, but did not find one.
I thought Cahaya looked fantastic. The group interactions seem very much improved. Zois still wanted to wander off on their own on occasion, but it was a fun experience. The beaches and resort areas are beautiful. I was hoping that there would be operable jet skis, but hopefully that is still in the works. The boats are a big plus, although I wish we could purchase boats … rental fees were a little pricey, maybe a marina would be a good addition. All of the other additions were great: snorkeling, mining, farming, and collecting. Overall, I would say this DLC is a great addition to the game. I also appreciate the extras that I wasn’t expecting. I love the elevators - saves a lot of space, easy to add, and they work perfectly.
