Hello, did you try this ? Those informations come to the inZOI’s Discord :

“Insufficient video memory” error when launching the game,

If you meet the system requirements but still see this error, it may be caused by accumulated data such as web cache, mods, or Canvas download files.

How to fix
Delete the folder: AppData/Local/inZoi/webcache_4430,
Tip: Before deleting, check the folder size—it may be useful to know.
If you’re using mods, temporarily disable all mods and try launching again.,

Crash immediately after launch,

Some of you have reported crashes right after starting the game. We’ve identified two possible solutions:

How to fix
Option 1: Clear Shader Cache,

If a PSO cache pop-up appears, please click ‘Yes’ to delete the cache. The game will automatically restart after the cache is cleared.,
Note: This will delete shader cache for all games, not just inZOI. As a result, the next time you launch other games, they may take longer to load as the cache is rebuilt.,

Option 2: Remove Mod Files Temporarily,
Move all files from %username%/Documents/inZOI/Mods to another location (e.g., Desktop).,
Then, relaunch inZOI with all mods fully disabled.,

So what I found out is the issue is mod related specifically mods that use the mod pack. What’ you’re gonna want to do is remove your mods folder, and then one by one add them back, until the issue starts again, once you do that you found the trouble mod, and can delete it and play the game.

Sorry for a very late reply, does not work at all and this message comes up now: The application has hung and will now close. We apologize for the inconvenience.

What graphics settings are you playing on? When you say “switch graphics settings,” do you mean you lowered or increased them? If you increased them, try lowering them again from the Options menu on the main screen before attempting to start a new game.

Are there background processes running at the same time? Close all other programs (make sure to close them in the Tray too) and close any background processes you can in Task Manager.

Also, you mentioned that you updated your graphics driver, but is your OS updated as well?

Hey, thanks for replying!
I’m running INZOI on an RTX 3060 Laptop GPU (7 GB VRAM).
I had the graphics on medium before reinstalling — I only lowered them once it started crashing (so not increased).
I’ve already closed all other background programs via Task Manager (including tray icons), and Steam is the only app running.
My drivers and Windows OS are fully updated as of October 21, 2025.
I also deleted %localappdata%\inZOI (including User_Data) and the DirectX cache before reinstalling.
The crash still happens on the main-menu loading screen, even at low resolution (1280×720 windowed).
Seems tied to the recent patch, since the game ran fine before that.
