I’d love to see better organization tools for both 3D assets from Canvas and custom content (mods) in Inzoi. Right now, downloaded content all goes into the main inventory without much sorting, and it can get cluttered quickly, especially if you download a lot of decor or clothing for storytelling and builds. Here are some suggestions I’d recommend.
1. Duplicate Prevention
When downloading assets (like patterns), the game should detect if a file already exists and prevent duplicates. For example, if a pattern is already in my inventory from one Zoi, downloading another Zoi with the same pattern shouldn’t add it again. This would help keep files from piling up unnecessarily and prevent performance slowdowns.
2. Search & Categorization for 3D Assets
In Build Mode, all downloadable 3D assets from Canvas are just piled together with no way to search or sort. Since many creators directly title their items by function (“couch”, “decor,” “plant”), it would be great to filter them. Here are a few ways I’d envision sorting:
• Add a search bar for 3D assets so we can find items by name.
• Allow players to create custom categories (e.g., “Beach Decor,” “Plants,” “Kitchen Items”) and sort downloaded assets into them.
• Sort by creator
3. Filter for Custom Content (Mods)
Custom content items already have a CC icon in the catalog, but there’s no way to filter by them. It would be helpful to add a filter (like in The Sims 4) to show CC items only. This would make it much easier to find and test new downloads without having to scroll through the entire catalog.
These improvements would make managing downloads far more efficient, especially for players who rely heavily on CC and Canvas items for builds, storytelling, and gameplay immersion.
