inZOI Forum Guidelines

Welcome to the inZOI Official Forums. This space is dedicated to helping players connect, share, and grow together. To ensure a safe, constructive, and inclusive environment for all members, please take a moment to read and follow the guidelines below.

1. Respectful Communication

  • Treat others with courtesy and kindness. Personal attacks, hate speech, harassment, or any form of discrimination will not be tolerated.

  • Avoid trolling (e.g., deliberately provoking others, mocking users, or derailing discussions), baiting (e.g., using sarcasm or passive-aggressive remarks to trigger reactions), or creating unnecessary conflict.

  • Keep language professional. Avoid excessive swearing or inappropriate content.

2. Content Rules

  • Do not post NSFW content, graphic violence, or any content that is harmful, exploitative, or otherwise inappropriate.

  • Do not post political or religious content, including debates, promotion, or commentary that could lead to conflict.

  • We have zero tolerance for content that promotes illegal activities, including drug use, criminal behavior, or terrorism. Such violations will result in removal and may lead to further consequences.

  • Please ensure you have the proper rights or give appropriate attribution when posting copyrighted content.

  • Content that infringes copyright or other intellectual property rights may be removed at the request of the rights holder without prior notice.

  • Piracy, cracked software, and malicious files or links (including malware or phishing) are strictly prohibited.

  • Spamming, advertising unrelated products (including paid content, monetized links, or external platforms), or repetitive self-promotion is prohibited.

  • Off-topic posts may be removed or moved at the discretion of staff without prior notice.

  • Do not share personal information—yours or others’ (e.g., email, phone number, address). For details on how the forum administrators handle data such as post logs and reports, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

  • Any form of grooming, sexual comments, or suggestive language directed toward a minor is strictly prohibited.

3. Language Policy

  • This forum is operated primarily in English to ensure clear communication and consistent moderation. In the event of any discrepancy between the English version and a translated version, the English version shall prevail as the authoritative version.

4. Posting Etiquette

  • Search before posting. Your question or topic may already exist.

  • Use clear, relevant titles and categorize posts correctly.

  • For bug reports or technical issues, please follow the pre-filled template provided when creating a new post. This helps us understand and respond faster.

  • Avoid “necroposting” (reviving old, inactive threads) unless you are adding meaningful updates. Some boards may auto-lock inactive threads.

  • Do not impersonate other users or staff. Any content that may be mistaken as an official statement, communication, or representation of the company is strictly prohibited unless explicitly authorized.

5. Community Flagging

  • Posts can be flagged for spam, inappropriate content, being off-topic, or needing staff attention.

  • Posts with multiple flags may be automatically hidden. Authors will receive a notification and may edit the post to have it reappear.

  • Misuse of the flagging system—such as repeated false reports or abuse of the feature—may result in the loss of access to flagging privileges or other forum activities.

6. Moderation and Enforcement

  • Staff may issue warnings, hide content, delete posts, or suspend accounts if any part of these guidelines is violated, regardless of severity.

  • The specific action taken will depend on the nature and frequency of the violation.

  • Major or repeated violations may result in permanent suspension.

7. Appeals

  • If you believe a moderation action was made without sufficient justification, or if you have reason to request a re-evaluation, you may submit an appeal via the official Support Center.

  • We cannot guarantee all appeals will be overturned, but each case will be reviewed in good faith.

8. Additional Reminders

  • These issues will not be reviewed or resolved here. Do not use the forum to discuss account bans, suspensions, or in-game penalties. For appeals or questions regarding enforcement actions, please contact our Customer Support team via the Support Center.

  • Repeated bumping disrupts the forum flow and may lead to post removal or temporary posting restrictions. Do not bump threads repeatedly or reply solely to provoke responses (e.g., “bump,” “any update?”).

  • Personal attacks, speculation, or targeted commentary about individual developers, moderators, or other community members are not permitted. Keep feedback focused on game content or forum experience, not on individuals.

  • Please stay informed of the most recent version of these guidelines. They may be updated as community needs evolve, and major changes will be announced.

Thank you for helping us make the inZOI Forums a welcoming and meaningful space for all.

When you’re unsure about posting something, take a moment to reflect — respect and clarity go a long way.

May I ask: what does ‘in-game penalties’ mean under ‘Additional Reminders’?

Hi @LennyOgg,
In-game penalties refer to actions taken against the game account.
If your game account has been sanctioned (e.g., suspended or banned), this cannot be appealed through the forums.
In such cases, please contact us directly via the official Support Center to submit your ban appeal.

Hello!

I just wanted to ask clarification on Rule 3: Language Policy. When you say that the forums are operated mainly in English and that people may use translation tools and other languages may be used for personal reference, does that mean that if a person posts a forum in another language, that the post may be subject to removal or may not receive a response due to it being entirely written in another language that is not English? For example, Korean is one of the supported languages for the game. Would a user be able to post in Korean? Or is this currently strictly an English only platform? Thank you ahead of time for taking the time to read this, and I hope you all have a nice day

Hi @BeepBoop,
Unfortunately, English is currently the only officially supported language on the inZOI Forums.
You won’t be penalized for writing in other languages, but please note that posts written in English are more likely to receive responses from other users and official replies from the inZOI Team.
We recommend using English whenever possible for better communication and visibility.
Thanks for your understanding and have a lovely day!

Of course! I completely understand. I was just asking for clarification, so that way if any of the members of the Korean community of the Discord would like to use this resource, I can provide them with some explanation ahead of time. Thank you for responding so quickly!
