I hope the developers will finally refine it in future updates.
- Shadows – sometimes too sharp and unrealistic, even with soft light sources.
- Night scenes – overall image feels too dark, even with lamps or streetlights on.
- Indoor lighting – light often “leaks” through walls or behaves strangely.

There are lots of settings for the shadows and also for the night scenes, you can adjust them to your liking. They can be found in the Graphics settings:
(Lighting quality also depends on your PC setup and graphics card)
The team is aware of the light bleeding through the walls issue, you can also tweak the settings to make it less ‘bad’, post on how do achieve it and more info is → here
Thank you for the information
I previously had custom graphic settings, and before the update everything worked fine.
I decided to start simple and set everything to Ultra, and it really helped. On the other hand, it’s still a bit disappointing that proper lighting is only available to those who can play on the highest settings. I hope this will be fixed in the future.
